The buzzy Prime Video comedy most recently aired in July 2023, and now, there are questions about a potential Good Omens Season 3.
Below, we've rounded up everything there is to know.
Good Omens Season 3 Renewal Status
Despite last airing several months ago, Prime Video has yet to confirm whether there will be more adventures for Aziraphale and Crowley.
In October 2023, Deadline hinted that a renewal would soon be made official.
The outlet said that options on the cast, led by Michael Sheen and David Tennant, had been picked up.
That typically means that a show is in active negotiations about a pickup.

The series adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s book, Good Omens, became a big hit when the show hit Prime Video. This summer saw the release of Good Omens 2, the follow-up to the successful first run. Michael Sheen has become the face of the character of Aziraphale, but Gaiman has recently revealed in a Tumblr post that he originally had another actor in mind as the angel. A fan asked him if anyone else came close to playing the roles of the duo. In a response, it was unveiled that Sheen was actually intended for Crowley, and Gaiman wanted Hugh Grant to embody Aziraphale.
ComingSoon.net reports that Gaiman explained, “I remember spending a lot of time pondering who Aziraphale could be back when Crowley was going to be Michael, and I think Hugh Grant was a leading contender in my head, but then somewhere in the middle of writing episode...

Long ago in a time before the pandemic (2019) Amazon released a show based on Neil Gaiman’s book Good Omens. Intended to be a limited series, the show was a hit so they opted for even more. However, talking to stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen, multiple seasons were always in the cards. Despite Gaiman’s material taking up the first season, the writers plotted along much further. So while I had very limited time to be able to talk with the two gentlemen, they were a wealth of knowledge. Make sure you check out my conversation with Michael Sheen and David Tennant above. Note: this was recorded before the SAG/AFTRA strike.
Good Omens plot:

Our favorite angel and demon duo are back in “Good Omens” Season 2: All six episodes hit Prime Video streaming on July 28. This time around, the odd couple is tasked with helping hide Gabriel (Jon Hamm) from both sides of the celestial divide until he can regain his memory.
Here are the returning and new characters and what other projects you may have seen the cast in before.
(Prime Video)
David Tennant as Crowley
Tennant, best known as the 10th Doctor on “Doctor Who,” plays fallen angel Crowley, whose relationship with Aziraphale pre-dates the creation of humans. The stylish demon often finds himself afoul of both heaven and hell. The Scottish actor also starred in “Broadchurch” and Marvel’s “Jessica Jones.”

Michael Sheen as Aziraphale

Good Omens season two is a story of friendship and love and, to quote Terry Pratchett’s Moving Pictures, “Passione in a Worlde Gone Madde!” Gorgeous-looking, perfectly cast, and full of joy, it’s like a warm hug and a mug of hot chocolate… with a little macabre horror and sketch show comedy bobbing beneath the surface.
Good Omens season one was based on a standalone novel written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, which meant that it was a complete story. That’s why most of its characters and plotlines – Adam and pals, Agnes Nutter, Anathema and the Four Motorcycle Riders of the Apocalypse – don’t appear in season two.
But more than any of those, Good Omens season one was the story of the friendship between the demon Crowley and the angel Aziraphale. They’re the true protagonists of the book, and indisputably the stars of the TV show,...

Prime Video will be treating Good Omens fans to behind-the-scenes videos in support of the series’ second season, with plans to drop more than a dozen before the show returns for the new season. The first featurette is packed with tidbits about season two and features Michael Sheen, David Tennant, and director/co-showrunner Douglas MacKinnon.

MacKinnon added, “If season one was a comedy about the end of the world, season two is a comedy about the beginning of everything else.”
The behind-the-scenes video was shot during production (well before the strike) and also includes cast members Miranda Richardson, Doon Mackichan, Liz Carr, Shelley Conn, Quelin Sepulveda, Gloria Obianyo, Maggie Service, and Nina Sosanya.

The Prime Video series "Good Omens," based on the novel "Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch" by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, is a delightfully irreverent romp through the apocalypse. The demon Crowley (David Tennant) and angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) are the unlikeliest of friends, but they still manage to stop the apocalypse together despite their many differences. Sure, there was a mix-up with the infant antichrist that led to a much sillier apocalypse than expected, but everything turned out okay in the end, and now the angel-demon duo are coming back for another, all-new adventure.

“Outlander” is giving fans a little more time before they have to say goodbye — and giving subscribers more of a reason to sign up for a full year instead of just a few months. Season 7 of the time-travel romance will air in two parts, Starz said on Wednesday, with the first half airing this year and the second half waiting for 2024.
Season 7, as previously announced, consists of 16 episodes, the show’s highest order count since Season 1. Like Season 1, which aired in 2014 and 2015, Season 7 will be split into two eight-episode bunches — the “Droughtlander” is officially over on June 16. “Outlander” has already been renewed for a final Season 8, which will consist of 10 episodes and presumably air in 2025 or later.
It is currently unclear if the show, based on Diana Gabaldon’s series of historical-fantasy romance novels, will completely adapt the entire saga. Each season of “Outlander” thus far has adapted (roughly) one...

Put on your kilts and break out the bagpipes in mourning: “Outlander” is coming to an end. The hit Starz TV series has been renewed for an eighth and final season, the premium cable channel announced Thursday. The news comes ahead of Season 7 of the series, which will premiere in Summer 2023.
The news makes it unclear if the show, which is based Diana Gabaldon’s series of historical fantasy romance novels, will adapt the most recent installment, 2021’s “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.” Each season of “Outlander” has thus far roughly adapted one book in the series, with the upcoming seventh season set to cover 2009’s “An Echo in the Bone” and Season 8 presumably covering 2014’s “Written in My Own Heart’s Blood.” That said, Season 7 is set to have an extended 16-episode run, while Season 8 will consist of 10 episodes, so its possible that longer length can help cover all three books.

Starz is spending next summer in Scotland. Season 7 of the channel’s smash hit series “Outlander” will premiere Summer 2023, it was announced Friday. In addition to the release period, the channel also unveiled a first look teaser for the upcoming season.
Based on Diana Gabaldon’s nine-book series of the same name, “Outlander” tells the story of Claire Randall (Caitríona Balfe), a nurse living in 1945 who is transported back in time to the 18th century, where she falls in love with Highland warrior Jaime Fraser (Sam Heughan). The show follows Claire and Jamie’s relationship as they navigate the real-life Jacobite rising and other historical events of the era, before more time travel shenanigans cause them to hop freely throughout history.
Season 7 will cover the events of Gabaldon’s seventh book in the “Outlander” series, “An Echo in the Bone.” Released in 2009, the book sees Jaime and Claire continuing their adventures in the 18th century,...

So we’ve already heard about Jessie Buckley‘s Kate Wilder from The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, but what about everyone else? Bandai Namco has remedied that with a brand new trailer for The Devil in Me that introduces the other members of Wilder’s film crew.
Alongside Kate Wilder, the new trailer introduces Charlie Lonnit (Paul Kaye), Mark Nestor (Fehinti Balogun), Jamie Tiergan (Gloria Obianyo), and Erin Keeman (Nikki Patel) of Lonnit Entertainment. The group are caught in the same deadly game of cat and mouse as Kate Wilder in the H. H. Holmes murder castle. As with Kate, their fate is in your hands. And as the trailer hints, if you make the wrong move, things turn out quite badly for that particular member.
As if teasing the potential demises of our Wilder and her crew wasn’t enough, the trailer also gives us a...

Jon Hamm is returning as Archangel Gabriel in Neil Gaiman’s fantasy series Good Omens as the Amazon drama has added a pair of new angels and a character from hell.
Liz Carr, who has featured in FX’s Devs and BBC’s Silent Witness, has signed on to play Saraqael, while Quelin Sepulveda, who is in Netflix’s action thriller Havoc, will play Muriel.
Bridgerton’s Shelley Conn joins the cast as another new character from hell.
Good Omens was renewed earlier this summer by the streamer with Michael Sheen returning as Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare book dealer, and David Tennant returning as the fast-living demon Crowley — an unlikely duo that teamed up to save the world from the apocalypse.
Hamm’s Gabriel will be aided and abetted by the Angels Michael, played by returning cast member Doon Mackichan, and Uriel, played by Dune’s Gloria Obianyo.

Robert Pattinson has a new sci-fi space thriller coming out called High Life and it actually looks pretty damn good. The movie doesn’t look anything like I expected it to be and that’s a good thing. It looks better, darker, and more insane.
The story centers on Pattinson’s character who is on board a spacecraft that filled with convicts and death row inmates who are being used as guinea pigs in a mission heading towards the black hole closest to Earth. There’s a lot more involved with the story than just that, though. Here’s the full synopsis:
Deep space. Beyond our solar system. Monte and his infant daughter Willow live together aboard a spacecraft, in complete isolation. A solitary man, whose strict self-discipline is a protection against desire –his own and that of others– Monte fathered the girl against his will. His sperm was used to inseminate Boyse,...

In these interviews Pattinson talks about wanting to work specifically with Denis, and the director herself opines that the film is ‘not really’ sci-fi and more about something more taboo.
