Born in Eastern Poland in a French-Russian family, she survived WWII and came to Paris. With her husband from 1955, she owned up to 18 cabarets and theaters in Paris including the Raspoutine, Shéhérazade, Mogador, la Comédie de Paris and les Folies Bergère where she had worked as a dancer.
