The Pill Pounder, one of the key titles in the CV of the iconic flapper, has enjoyed a belated revival at the San Francisco Silent film festival
A century after she first began to turn heads, Clara Bow is “It” once more. The iconic flapper of the silent film era inspired Margot Robbie’s character Nellie in Damien Chazelle’s Hollywood epic Babylon, is namechecked on Taylor Swift’s forthcoming album The Tortured Poets Department, and yesterday at the San Francisco Silent film festival, one of her earliest films was shown for the first time since the days of bathtub gin.
The story of the film’s discovery has already caused excitement online. Film-maker Gary Huggins inadvertently snapped up a slice of lost silent film history at an auction in a car park in Omaha, Nebraska, that was selling old stock from a distribution company called Modern Sound Pictures. Hoping...

Disney has a new hero in Renegade Nell. Derry Girls‘ Louisa Harland anchors the series as the titular Nell Jackson (not Nellie!), whose sudden superpowers gifted to her by the magical spirit Billy Blind (Ted Lasso‘s Nick Mohammed) make her everyone’s prime target. Be they friend or foe, Nell leaves everyone in awe of her strength and skill — things she must put to good use when she’s framed for murder and goes on the run to prove her innocence and protect her family. Co-starring in the series created by Sally Wainwright, the mind behind Happy Valley and Gentleman Jack, are Joely Richardson as Lady Eularia Moggerhanger and Alice Kremelberg as Sofia Wilmot. Eularia is more obsessed with Nell, whereas Sofia is her green-with-envy nemesis. “Sofia would be incredibly jealous that she has this power. She’s never seen anyone do anything like this,” Kremelberg tells TV Insider above.

Melissa Gilbert had a ready answer when asked why fans of Little House on the Prairie always seem to burst into tears whenever they see her in person.
“Because I do! I think it’s just, you know … the show evokes so much emotion in people and made everybody feel,” Gilbert told the crowd Friday at the three-day Little House on the Prairie Cast Reunion and Festival in Simi Valley, CA. “So when they see us, they have the feels, and then the leftover feels from 50 years ago. Now they’re feeling it again through children and grandchildren. There’s this continuity and sense of family. This is a giant family reunion.”
Thousands of people converged upon Simi Valley’s Rancho Santa Susana Park to remember Little House on the Prairie, the Michael Landon starrer that debuted 50 years ago this year. With the promise to see stars like Gilbert, who played Laura “Half Pint” Ingalls,...

We Were Dangerous begins so strongly and so confidently that it promises to take a grim but familiar period movie trope — the victimization of vulnerable young women in an authoritarian, male-dominated, post-war Christian world — and turn it inside out, mining it for deadpan, absurdist comedy instead of political outrage and focusing on the unexpectedly deep and moving friendships that can be made even in the darkest of situations. Frustratingly, it never quite comes together as the wry, subversive coming-of-age movie that it might have been, but the performances are powerful enough in Josephine Stewart-Te Whiu’s debut that its emotional heft is surprisingly indelible.
Initially narrated by the formidable Matron (Rima Te Wiata), this 1954-set film tells the story of Nellie (Erana James) and Daisy (Manaia Hall), both attendees at a New Zealand school for incorrigible delinquent girls. Matron thinks that her charges have little to offer society, believing that...

A small but spirited 1954-set drama about a group of “delinquent” teenage girls who plan a daring escape from the one-dock New Zealand island where they’ve been sent for institutional Christianization, Māori filmmaker Josephine Stewart-Te Whiu’s “We Were Dangerous” does its best to remain upbeat as the agents of colonization try to assert their control over its characters’ bodies. It’s a promising debut that does its best to remain upbeat as the agents of colonization try to assert their control over its characters’ bodies, as Stewart-Te Whiu skillfully combines the pluck of “A Little Princess” with the irreverence of executive producer Taika Waititi’s “Hunt for the Wilderpeople.”
Light on its feet even in the face of forced sterilization, Stewart-Te Whiu’s debut wields its upbeat tone as a rousing show of defiance unto itself; if that means whittling this story down to its 82-minute skeleton in...

French filmmaker Leos Carax discussed the sacred nature of the image and the challenge of retaining its power on the big screen in the digital age in an on-stage conversation at the Doha Film Institute’s Qumra event on Monday.
The filmmaker said he had transitioned to shooting in digital in his segment of the 2008 feature Tokyo!, one of his first works after the death of his beloved cinematographer Jean-Yves Escoffier, who died age 52 in 2003.
Carax revealed this move had changed his filmmaking process as he took the decision to stop watching the dailies from then on, which resulted in him ditching his habit of doing multiple retakes.
The director admitted that 15 years on, he is not a huge fan of shooting in digital.

Any movie starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie is expected to be a box-office hit considering their reputation in the Hollywood entertainment industry. Pitt might have started his acting career much before Robbie, but the actress has proved her proficiency as a performer time and time again.
Despite the power-packed performances of the ensemble cast featuring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie among others, Damien Chazelle’s black comedy drama – Babylon tanked at the box office. This has cast doubt on the director’s future as he recently admitted that he might not get a budget as big as Babylon for his next project.

Kent Melton, the animation sculptor who created maquettes made of clay for iconic characters found in movies including Aladdin, The Lion King, Mulan, The Incredibles and Coraline, has died. He was 68.
Melton died Thursday at his home in Stone County, Missouri, of Lewy body dementia, family members told The Hollywood Reporter.
One of the few artists left in the industry who still sculpted in clay, Melton was a key player in the Disney animation renaissance of the 1990s. Later, he helped Laika Studios become a stop-motion powerhouse. Along the way, he was entrusted by animators to bring their two-dimensional drawings into a three-dimensional world.
Melton’s first Disney credit came on Aladdin (1992), followed by work on such other studio films as Thumbelina (1994), The Lion King (1994), Pocahontas (1995), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Hercules (1997), Mulan (1998), The Prince of Egypt (1998), Tarzan (1999), The Road to El Dorado (2000), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001), Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron...

Taylor Swift may or may not be aligned with the interests of the U.S. government (she’s definitely not), but she does wield immense cultural power. Every time the 14-time Grammy winner includes an obscure lyrical reference in her songs, it creates an opportunity for the nerds who recognize it to say something like, oh, “But do you know what’s really cool about Clara Bow?”
So … do you know what’s really cool about Clara Bow?
Until this week, Clara Bow was just another silent movie star whose career got reduced to a persona in popular culture (the hedonistic “It Girl” both in the movie “It” and in her real life). But now that her name is revealed as inspiring a track on Swfit’s upcoming album “The Tortured Poets Department,” expect Bow to become a sensation all over again, 100 years after her heyday.

Somehow, in the midst of the “first quarter” of the year’s cinematic doldrums and discards a nice surprise “pops’ up to jolt you awake, or at the least engage your senses. And it’s even rarer that it’s from a relative newcomer or an artist that’s not yet “on the radar”. That changes now. Like many creatives, she’s far from an “overnight star”, as her IMDb lists more than a dozen or so acting credits. And then there are several listings of “behind the camera” work, in features and shorts on the big screen and small. Now, with this release she’s a true “triple threat” as she makes her feature directing debut while emoting in nearly every scene. Film fans, here to inject much-needed energy and a bit of snark into the “rom-com” is Leah McKendrick in Scrambled.

It seems like only yesterday that we were all ragging on the millennial cohort for youthful foibles like excess avocado consumption and crushing student debt accrual. But time, with its trademark humorlessness, has marched on and suddenly, the self-same kids who coined “adulting” to hashtag their Insta stories about that time they put up a shelf, are discovering how much less fun it is to be adult-ed — ready or not.
In the enjoyably salty-till-it-gets-too-sweet “Scrambled,” Nellie is definitely in the “not” category, but that doesn’t matter to her ovaries. At 34, they’re starting to slow down their egg production, forcing hard-partying, sexually adventurous Nellie, whose journey to date has been an exercise in life-decision-making avoidance, to consider her options. When exactly should you let go of the child inside you, in order to embrace the possibility of having a child inside you?

"What if I screw this up? I don't even know if I want kids!" Lionsgate has unveiled the trailer for another new sex comedy called Scrambled, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Leah McKendrick. Thirty-something Nellie Robinson is your quintessential eternal bridesmaid. When a doctor visit reveals her fertility may be in jeopardy, she stares down the barrel of a future without options and decides to freeze her eggs. The arduous (and pricey) process sends her on a journey of self-examination, confronting past lovers, dreams and regrets, and ultimately bringing her face to face with the one she’s meant to be with forever: Herself. Starring Leah McKendrick as Nellie, Ego Nwodim, Andrew Santino, Adam Rodriguez, Laura Cerón, and Clancy Brown. This received mostly positive reviews at the fest, praising the structure: "the film has quick quips, good timing, and tight pacing." Looks like it is honest & fun with plenty of spunk.

Exclusive: Boutique distributor Juno Films has picked up North American and UK rights to This World is Not My Own, a documentary portrait of the folk artist Nellie Mae Rowe from filmmakers Petter Ringbom and Marquise Stillwell, which premiered earlier this year at SXSW. The award-winner will be released in theaters in the summer of 2024.
Beginning with her birthday on July 4, 1900, Rowe’s life spanned the 20th century. For most of it, she made art in obscurity, propelled by a force she viewed as a God-given gift. As the daughter of a sharecropper and former slave, Rowe made art from whatever she could find. As an adult, she transformed her home into her “Playhouse,” an imaginative oasis filled with vibrant drawings, handmade sculptures and dolls, and collected objects. Six years before her death, a wealthy gallerist, Judith Alexander, “discovered” and introduced her work to the art world.

The year’s scariest sleeper hit, Talk to Me became A24’s second highest grossing horror film with $48 million at the domestic box office on a $4.5 million budget. The Australian movie marks the feature debut of co-directors Danny and Michael Philippou, who rose to prominence with their YouTube channel, RackaRacka.
The film’s home video release includes an audio commentary with the excitable Australian twins. They begin by stating that they won’t discuss the movie’s themes, as they want to leave it open to interpretation (although they let a few hints slip), but they have plenty of other insight to share.

Jean Boht, who played the iron-fisted matriarch Nellie Boswell on every episode of the 1986-91 BBC sitcom Bread, has died. She was 91.
Boht died Tuesday, her family announced, saying that she “had been battling vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s disease with the indefatigable spirit for which she was both beloved and renowned.”
She had been living in Denville Hall, a home in London for actors and other members of the entertainment industry.
Her husband of 52 years, Carl Davis, who composed the scores for The French Lieutenant’s Woman and Abel Gance’s epic 1927 silent film Napoléon, died six weeks ago after suffering a brain hemorrhage.

Who says you can't go home again? Sometimes, you need a mom's unconditional love when things get tough.
After she and Ryan broke up, Helen flew home on Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Episode 7 for some Southern cooking and her mother's love and advice. Back home, Paula offered Maddie comfort and meddling to get the ladies to reconcile.
Dana Sue had lots to stress over as she learned about her daughter's lies, and Sullivan's was vandalized.
Helen was suffering, so she went to her safe place -- home. Helen was like the prodigal daughter; her mom welcomed her home with open arms.
Like most mothers, she knew a crisis precipitated this sudden visit home. I loved how Helen's mom kept singing and cooking until Helen finally broke down. The duet Heather Headley sang with Janet Hubert was mesmerizing.
It should tell Helen something that neither her mother nor her friends thought she was happy with Ryan.

Tensions were high at Annie's 16th birthday party.
Kathy crashed Annie's party and caused a scene on Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Episode 5, embarrassing herself and everyone else.
In addition, ugly truths flared at Margarita night, and the ladies fought like we had never seen them before.
Family dynamics are complicated, and Ronnie was caught in the middle between his wife and his estranged sister.
Kathy has been rude since Sweet Magnolias Season 3 began, though part of me wonders what started this cold war.
Did Kathy start this war with Dana Sue and Ronnie only because Ms. Frances helped fund Sullivans and left it to Dana Sue?
Getting along with the in-laws can be difficult, especially if the sibling felt like you stole their place.
Don't you dare drag my real sisters into your mess.

We finally saw some of the teenager's stories intertwined with the adults' arcs on Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Episode 4.
While much of the episode dealt with the Helen, Erik, and Ryan drama, this installment also showed how Annie, Ty, and CeCe were doing.
"Be Bold" focused on being brave enough to fight for what you wanted.
While watching the three adult couples, you can tell how different they are.
Cal and Maddie seemed like they were getting stale and boring, but focusing on their interests made them stronger, flirtier, and more fun to watch again.
Every couple needs their own hobbies, whether it's an art class or woodworking. You appreciate date night more.
How cute was Cal when he surprised Maddie with that wooden swing so they could finally have some alone time?
Helen was living in a fantasy land.
She thought Ryan could be happy living in Serenity and working...

Much like her namesake, it seems Dolores Roach can survive under even the harshest conditions.
In The Horror of Dolores Roach Season 1 finale, it feels like Dolores’ (Justina Machado) luck might be running out. To quickly recap, so far she has murdered: the landlord’s son and the landlord himself, Jeremiah, a couple of neighborhood drug dealers, a local laundromat operator, a private investigator and maybe her sidekick Luis (Alejandro Hernandez).

If there was a phrase that could summarize Warrior Season 3 Episode 4, it's the common, almost cliché saying, "You play with fire, you get burnt."
Many characters played with fire, and when it burned them, the pain was nothing like they had ever experienced.
The search for the fake money plates brought the cops to the doors of the Hop Wei, where they wasted no time in raining hell on the place.
It led to an eventful night for Yan Mi as she crossed more than one boundary, many of which she had never envisioned herself crossing.
Elsewhere, Mai Ling's attempts to be accepted into the wide society led her directly into police custody after she was accused of a serious crime.
The episode picked up directly after the events of Warrior Season 3 Episode 3, where Sonoma Valley was attacked at night, leading to multiple casualties.

Plot: Dolores Roach is released after an unjust 16-year prison sentence, and she returns to a now-gentrified Washington Heights neighborhood. She reunites with an old stoner friend, Luis, who lets her live and work as a masseuse in the basement under his empanada shop. When the promise of her newfound stability is threatened, she must go to extremes to survive.
Review: It is tough to say whether the golden age of television is thriving or ending. With the streaming wars imploding, the depth and breadth of content on the small screen has never been bigger. But, with dozens upon dozens of series, many’s quality seems questionable. The latest series to debut is The Horror of Dolores Roach. A co-production between Amazon Studios and Blumhouse, The Horror of Dolores Roach is an adaptation of the hit podcast of the same name, which, in turn, was an adaptation of a stage play.

Amazon Original series “The Horror of Dolores Roach,” based on the hit Gimlet podcast, isn’t shy about its influences. Giving a contemporary, gentrification spin on the Victorian cannibalism tale of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, the new series from creator Aaron Mark injects winking nods at every turn and then some, including a reference to William Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus. As tongue-in-cheek as these knowing references can be, it also underscores how familiar Dolores Roach’s predicament can be, though it’s offset by Justina Machado’s relatable and empathetic performance.
Much like Sweeney Todd, we meet Machado’s Dolores Roach at the far end of a lengthy prison sentence she didn’t quite earn. Dolores took the fall for her drug dealer boyfriend Dominic and spent sixteen years in jail, and her release leaves her with very little to her name in a now-gentrified Washington Heights.

She’s perhaps best known for her turn as David Tennant’s companion Donna in “Doctor Who” (a role she’ll reprise on screen this fall) but, for her latest project, Catherine Tate has swapped the Tardis for tiaras. Titled “Queen of Oz,” the new BBC comedy sees Tate play a disgraced British princess who is sent Down Under after screwing up one too many royal engagements.
In the show, Tate plays Princess Georgiana who, after yet another public catastrophe (involving a school visit and plenty of alcohol-induced vomit), is banished to Australia. Tate says she was attracted by the “fish out of water” concept but, despite many royal-related headlines in recent years, is keen to point out that no real royals inspired Georgiana’s character. “I wasn’t thinking of anyone, because it’s nice to create something from scratch,” says the comedian, who co-wrote and stars in the series.

‘Little House on the Prairie’: Alison Arngrim Required a Stunt Person During a Certain Type of Scene
Nellie Oleson was much prissier than her early character foil, Laura Ingalls, on Little House on the Prairie. But she still knew her way around a horse barn. Alison Arngrim the actor, however, did not. In fact, Arngrim had a distinct fear of horses that required her to use a stunt girl anytime Nellie was supposed to be riding a horse.

Millie Bobby Brown is reimagining history. On September 12, the Stranger Things actress will release her debut novel Nineteen Steps. The book builds around her family history by drawing inspiration from stories shared by her grandmother Ruth, a survivor of the 1943 Bethnal Green tube incident that left 173 dead and dozens more injured after panic on a staircase led to a major crowd crush. But Brown’s book takes a less harrowing approach, following the personal life of an 18-year-old girl coming of age during World War II.

Even though there's been a significant rise in raunchy comedies that put female characters in the driver's seat, thanks in part to the success of movies like "Bridesmaids" and "Trainwreck," most of them are rom-coms that firmly rely on the blend of both romance and R-rated comedy. However, "Scrambled," from writer-director Leah McKendrick, stands out among the crowd as a movie that isn't nearly concerned with finding true love. Instead, the film focuses on thirtysomething Nellie (played by McKendrick) as she begins to explore the peaks and valleys of female fertility.
Nellie is swimming in a sea of weddings, engagement parties, baby showers, and friends who are leaving their younger transgressions behind in favor of a future with a family. While attending her friend Sheila's (Ego Nwodim) nuptials, where Sheila reveals that she's also pregnant, Nellie takes some Molly and reconnects with her old friend Monroe (June Diane Raphael), the...

Lena Dunham had “Girls.” Amy Schumer had “Trainwreck.” And now, Leah McKendrick has “Scrambled.” The filmmaker and star behind the dramedy “Scrambled” shines in this coming-of-age fertility saga, which chronicles an aimless 34-year-old who decides to freeze her eggs amid the onslaught of weddings, bridal showers, and babies her peers are suddenly throwing.
The film follows Los Angeles native Nellie (McKendrick), whose best friend Sheila (“Saturday Night Live” standout Ego Nwodim) is getting married. Gone are their days of doing coke together and partying without consequence: Sheila is pregnant and tying the knot, while Nellie gets stuck rolling on ecstasy by herself at the reception.

Chicago – What is more ordinary than a man alone with his thoughts, and then applying those thoughts to paper in the form of poetry? “Paterson” is a celebration of such ritual, and other dreams in the working class. It never panders, it never makes the “hero” that heroic, but it does challenge him in an ordinary sense, to work it out as meaningful poetics.

Sales agent Fortissimo Films’ bankruptcy last week represented a major loss for members of the independent film industry that had worked with the company, based in Amsterdam and Hong Kong, for 25 years. A pioneer in the Asian and art house movie world, Fortissimo represented narrative films from acclaimed directors like Wong Kar-wai (“In the Mood for Love”), Tsui Hark (“Seven Swords”) and Jim Jarmusch (“Mystery Train”). It also handled sales for documentaries like Andrew Jarecki’s “Capturing The Friedmans,” Robert Kenner’s “Food Inc.,” Morgan Spurlock’s “Super Size Me” and Martin Scorsese’s “Shine a Light.”
Fortissimo was known for its impeccable taste that shunned mainstream titles, landing recent award-winners like writer-director Yi’nan Diao’s 2014 crime-drama “Black Coal, Thin Ice,” which won Berlin’s Golden Bear award, and Naji Abu Nowar’s adventure-drama “Theeb,” which earned Nowar the Best Director award at the 2014 Venice Film Festival. Jim Jarmusch’s Cannes premiere “Paterson” will hit the big screen just in time for this year’s awards season, thanks to Amazon and Bleecker Street. Variety reports that the Adam Driver-starring film will get a platform release at the end of the year, debuting on December 28 — just in time to make the awards-qualifying cut-off — and will expand its theatrical release in subsequent weeks.
The film, about a New Jersey bus driver going about his daily routine, was hailed at Cannes, where it premiered in May. Our own Eric Kohn wrote in his Cannes review that it’s Jarmusch’s most personal film yet, good enough for the film to earn an A rating.

As we mounted the stairs of the Red Carpet for the last time, the Closing Night Awards for the Cannes International Film Festival were announced by the Jury President, George Miller, Director of “Mad Max: Fury Road”. The eight additional members, four women and four men -- Arnaud Desplechin, Kirsten Dunst, Valeria Golino, Mads Mikkelsen, László Nemes , Vanessa Paradis, Katayoon Shahabi and Donald Sutherland presented the awards. Surprise of the evening was that the German Competition film, Maren Ade’s “Toni Erdmann”, clearly an audience favorite and snatched up immediately for the U.S. by Sony Pictures Classics, received no award at all. However, it was a great evening for IFC/ Sundance Selects who has the U.S. rights to three winners, "I, Daniel Blake", "Graduation" and "Personal Shopper".
The Palme d’Or went to Ken Loach for “I, Daniel Blake”, the sad drama of a disabled worker and of a young single mother of two who hold each other up as they try to navigate the social service morass which denies them their rightful ability to pursue happiness. The 79-year-old British director Ken Loach also won in 2006 for "The Wind that Shakes the Barley" and has had over 18 films selected for Cannes. This Sundance Selects acquisition brought audiences to wrenching tears.
“The festival is very important for the future of cinema,” said Loach. “When there is despair, the people from the far right take advantage. We must say that another world is possible and necessary.”
Best Director Award was split between Romanian Cristian Mungiu ("Graduation" or “Bacalaureat”) and Olivier Assayas (“Personal Shopper”). Mungiu’s "4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days" won the Palme d'Or in 2007. His actresses had shared the Actress prize for "Beyond the Hills." Like the Romanian 2013 Berlinale winner, “Child’s Pose” and Iranian Asghar Farhadi’s 2012 Academy Award winner, “A Separation”, the film contains object lessons about the moral choices made by humans whose actions result in greater damage than originally foreseen, especially when taking place in an already corrupted society. In this story a father tries to protect his daughter and give her the greatest opportunities for making her life better than that of her parents.
Co-winner Olivier Assayas, received his first Cannes award for "Personal Shopper" (IFC Films). This is his second English-language film starring Kristen Stewart (Cesar winner for "Clouds of Sils Maria"). As she buys fashionable attire for a rich client and tries to communicate with her twin brother, who has recently died. It was a great Cannes for Stewart, who was well-received in Woody Allen's "Cafe Society" (Amazon has U.S.) as well.
Best Screenplay went to “The Salesman” by Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi (Amazon and Cohen Media Group share U.S. rights). His star, Shahab Hosseini won Best Actor his role as an actor in the midst of moving apartments and starring in Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman" when his wife (Taraneh Alidoosti) is assaulted in the shower of their new domicile by a man who assumes that she is the former tenant, a prostitute. Winning the Jury Prize for the third time (!) for coming of age road movie “American Honey” (A24 has U.S.) starring Shia Labeouf and unknown Sasha Lane. British director Andrea Arnold wanted to dance as she accepted the award. Xavier Dolan, who won the 2014 Jury Prize of “Mommy” won the Grand Prix for his very theatrical "It's Only the End of the World". He cried to receive the award for his family drama starring some of the greatest French actors living today, Nathalie Baye, Vincent Cassel, Marion Cotillard, Léa Seydoux, Gaspard Ulliel. The film has no U.S. distributor yet. To my mind, the acting far outstripped the story. I am just glad the other greatest French actor, Isabelle Huppert, was not in Dolan’s film. She had her hands full in Paul Verhoeven’s “Elle” the Competition film about another woman attacked in her home by an unknown assailant. Best Actress went to Jaclyn Jose for “Ma' Rosa” by Philippine director Brillante Mendoza.
The Caméra d'Or ("Golden Camera") for the best first feature film presented in one of the Cannes' selections (Official Selection, Directors' Fortnight or International Critics' Week) went to “Divines” directed by Houda Benyamina. Houda received her award with unconcealed joy and enthusiasm. The 35 year old Franco-Moroccan film director whose long and strong speech called on women to be more present in the world of cinema said, “I was always saying that I do not care about Cannes …but today, well I’m happy to be here. Cannes belongs to us too …For things to change, you have to put a lot more women in decision-making positions…I am a committed filmmaker, making films is a way to turn my [feminist] anger into perspective…Women! Women!” she added as she broke into the Arabic women’s Ululation. Houda’s film follows an impoverished young girl who drops out of school and escapes her family in search of her own emancipation and personal freedom.
Outside of the Official Awards the winner of the Queer Palm (Feature) was "Les Vies de Thérèse" by Sébastien Lifshitz and Queer Palm (Short): "Gabber Lover" Anna Cazenave-Cambet. And finally, the Palme Dog went to Nellie for “Paterson”by Jim Jarmusch.
