- Mariah Martina Heath is a Native American & Italian/French performer - actress, singer, musician, and dancer. She was born and raised in the East Bay Area of San Francisco, California and was raised by her mother Carol Heath-Kim, step-father Dr. Rodney Y. Kim, and grandmother Rose Santee.
Her mother is of Italian & French descent, who met her father, Martinez Heath, full-blooded Native American Indian, while on a US Tour as a professional ice skater. She was one of The Ice Folliettes with featured performances in The Ice Follies US touring show (current trade name, Disney on Ice). Mariah's father started his professional jockey career at the age of 16 at Portland Meadows in Oregon and in 1968 was the regular rider of the champion thoroughbred, Nodouble.
Mariah is an Enrolled Member and Landowner of the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation in Warm Springs, Oregon. She is the granddaughter of Chief Nathan Heath and niece to current Chief Delvis Heath, of the Warm Springs Indians Tribe.
Mariah grew up performing dance, and started playing the clarinet and singing in high school, where she traveled to Japan and Europe Touring with The Bay Area Wind Symphony, and sang and marched down Main Street USA, Disneyland (Mariah's Happiest Place on Earth!), with her El Cerrito H.S. Gaucho classmates. After graduating high school, Mariah performed in her first musical theatre performance and the acting bug bit hard! Musical theatre was the perfect next step to featuring her singing and dancing while adding the new and challenging acting skills to her resume. Some of her favorite musical theatre roles include: The Bakers Wife, Into the Woods; Patsy, Monty Python's Spamalot; and Marta, COMPANY.
Mariah moved to Los Angeles in late 2019 to further her acting and performing career, and continues to spend time with her family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Education includes courses from the Drama Department, Dance Department, and Music Department at Diablo Valley College. Vocal training and coaching with Jennifer Shaw-Navarrete & Alicia Jeffries.
