- Mariah's father, Martinez Heath, started his professional career as a Jockey at the age of 16 at Portland Meadows in Oregon. In 1968 he was the regular rider of the champion thoroughbred, Nodouble. In 1967 he won 7 races on one race card at the Fresno Fair Race Track in Fresno, CA.

- Mariah's mother, Carol Heath-Kim (Santee), was a professional Ice Skater. She performed as a Ice Follies Folliettes, with featured performances in the Ice Follies Touring Show (Current trade name, Disney on Ice). She also toured Europe as a professional Ice Skater in the Touring show, Holiday on Ice.
- Mariah Martina Heath is the Niece to current Warm Springs Indians, Chief Delvis Heath & is also the Granddaughter to the late Chief Nathan Heath.
- In High School, Mariah Martina Heath played the clarinet in a youth music group called, The Bay Area Wind Symphony (BAWS) - Directed by Karen Michalka. Mariah became 1st chair Clarinet and performed a solo in her senior year. She toured in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Japan with BAWS.
