The boys of PrettyMuch are saying goodbye to one of their members. On Friday, the group — responsible for hits like “Phases” and “Summer On You” — announced that after “some very difficult conversations as a band,” Nick Mara had decided to leave the group to “take on new endeavors as an individual.”
The boy band — originally comprising Mara, Brandon Arreaga, Zion Kuwonu, Austin Porter, and Edwin Honoret — thanked their fans for sticking with them over the last six and a half years, and shared the first taste of the new PrettyMuch...

Boy bands PrettyMuch and Cnco square off in an intense soccer match in the video for their new Spanglish new single “Me Necesita.”
The alluring, horn-heavy track finds the vocal quintets detailing their intoxicating romances. In the video, the bands play opposing soccer teams, and the game turns out to be quite the feat: they fly high and do intense, acrobatic stunts in between scenes of choreographed dancing to the song. The match ends in a tie and a dance number featuring all 10 stars.
Earlier this year, PrettyMuch released their second Ep Phases.

PrettyMuch dropped “Lying,” a new collaboration with Lil Tjay. The boy band has been performing the track on their Fomo Tour this summer.
On “Lying,” the boys pine for an ex who has moved on already. They aren’t quite over it yet, knowing that they’re not quite being honest to themselves or their ex about how they still love this person. “But I’m lying when I talk to you/’Cause you’re lying under someone new,” they sing on the chorus. Lil Tjay adds more to the story,...

PrettyMuch have released the mid-tempo ballad “Phases.” The boy band will be touring North America on their headlining Fomo Tour this summer.
“Phases” has the boys promising to wait for a negligent lover. The bittersweet track details the lengths they’ve gone to be a constant for a shifty, flippant partner. Members Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret and Zion Kuwonu co-wrote the single while Some Randoms (Kehlani) produced. In the Young Astronauts-directed video, the story is acted out by a young woman who shuffles through a variety of romantic partners without...

PrettyMuch crafted an anthem dedicated to genuine connection with their new song “Real Friends.” The boy band begin their headlining Funktion Tour tomorrow in Seattle.
The bouncy song has the boys singing and sing-rapping above a hyper beat full of trap drills. Taking their verse section independently leads to a gang-vocal chorus, perfect for the celebratory nature of the song. “You can call your girlfriends/I’mma be with my friends/Pull up to the function/Like we real friends,” they offer invitingly, referencing their tour. “We don’t need...

Rising boy band PrettyMuch teamed up with rapper Rich the Kid on their alluring, Latin-pop infused “Solita.” They embark on the fall Funktion Tour in October.
Rich the Kid kicks off the song before the group pipes in with a mix of Spanglish as they try to seduce a girl who is “lost and solita” (translation: alone) and, according the boys, in need of their company. They remain chivalrous, waiting for the girl to take the lead as the song becomes increasingly layered with Spanish guitar and horns. “I swear...
