A contestant on the current season of Big Brother has been kicked out of the house for using a racial slur.
Luke Valentine has been removed from the set of the 25th season of the CBS summer reality series.
“Luke violated the Big Brother code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur,” CBS confirmed in a statement. “He has been removed from the house. His departure will be addressed in Thursday night’s show.”
As first reported by TMZ, Valentine used the N-word in the middle of a conversation with the other houseguests: “I’m in the fucking cheese room [N-word]” and then corrected himself to say, “dude.” He then told Jared Fields, a Black contestant, that saying the word was “a slip of the tongue” and apologized. “I don’t give a fuck,” Jared reportedly replied. “I’m in trouble now,” Valentine said,...

With Cody Calafiore winning his second Head of Household competition this week on “Big Brother 22” and continuing the streak of his alliance strictly nominating players outside their group, we must ask the question: how does The Committee rank against the great alliances in Bb history? Cody has been aligned with Christmas Abbott, Nicole Franzel, Memphis Garrett, Tyler Crispen and Dani Briones in a so-far-unbreakable alliance of six since Memphis corralled the group during his own Hoh reign in week 2. As of this week, they have won 7/8 Hoh and 5/8 Power of Veto comps.

Big Brother has been on the air for 20 years.
The series has been a success story for CBS, but it has also been filled with controversial houseguests.
While most of the action is cut down to three one-hour episodes every week, the series has a 24-hour live feed that gives viewers a closer look into what goes on in the house.
We're running down the most controversial houseguests.
Jack Matthews (Season 21)
Matthews found himself in trouble for comments that viewers found both racist and aggressive.
He did not get on with fellow houseguest, Kemi Fakunle, and said to his allies that he wanted to "stomp a mudhole through" her chest.
He also called her "disgusting" and a "maggot" during their time in the house.
Matthews also courted controversy when called Asian-American houseguest Isabella Wang a "rice pudding."
Julie Chen asked Matthews about his comments upon his eviction, and he apologized to Fakunle,...

Last summer, fans didn't have to worry whether CBS might cancel or renew its Big Brother TV show, because it was already renewed before the premiere. This time around, there are no such reassurances. Still, since the reality TV series has long been a Nielsen ratings winner, cancellation isn't a big concern. We're keeping an eye on the ratings though, because it helps us measure the success of other Tiffany Network shows, and one day, Big Brother will fail to captivate viewers, so stay tuned. *Status update below.

Hey, fellow Big Brother fans. Yes, the time for the upcoming season 21 is fastly approaching, and the Big Brother producers have indeed started their casting process for it. With that in mind, Big Brother season 20 sweetheart Haleigh Broucher recently released a new Youtube video that features her three top tips for getting cast on Big Brother. To get things started, Haleigh said, "Everyone says be yourself. Just be who you are, and that's true. But you have to keep in mind that these casting producers are seeing thousands and thousands of people. So, you have to think, 'What is going to make you stand out.' When you think about yourself, pick a characteristic that you can really just multiply by ten. So, pick something about yourself that you can go in there and harp on it. You can dress about it. You can talk about it, and let that...

Hey, fellow Big Brother fans. We've got some pretty disturbing news to share with you guys today in regards to Big Brother season 20 houseguest Kaitlyn Herman. You guys remember Kaitlyn, right. She was the very eccentric one who thought her dead grandfather appeared at the house in the form of a bird and things like that. She was also responsible for the major, backdoor blindside of fellow houseguest Chris "Swaggy C" Williams in week 2. We used to call Kaitlyn crazy and nuts, but we're going to play nice now that her season is well over. From now on we'll just refer to Kaitlyn as eccentric. That's the nice word for crazy, right? We're just kidding. Kaitlyn actually seems like a pretty cool person outside of the house. Anyways, a lot of vicious fans are not playing nice with Kaitlyn though, and it's quite disturbing to hear. A recent Newsweek article...

Kaitlyn Herman was one of the most talked about houseguests on Big Brother in the beginning. She entered the Big Brother 20 house with a boyfriend, but she managed to exit without him. Now, it looks like she may have found someone new. Since Big Brother 20 ended, the houseguests have been living it up and traveling the country. Kaycee Clark may have won the show, but fans are focused on several houseguests this time around, not just her. Kaitlyn Herman has been in the thick of things while attending events and parties with the people she met inside the […]

Hey, fellow Big Brother fans. We recently got a chance to go back over the backyard, post-Big Brother season 20 interviews with Ross Matthews and Marissa Jaret Winokur, and we found some very interesting things that were said when Chris "Swaggy C" Williams and Bayleigh Dayton chatted with them. For starters, it turns out that Swaggy C wouldn't have voted the way Bayleigh did in the final two. Bayleigh voted for Kaycee to win. Swaggy revealed that he would've voted for Tyler to win. Swaggy revealed what his status was with fellow houseguest Kaitlyn Herman after she mega backdoored him in week two, betraying their whole Foutte alliance. Apparently, they're cordial right now,but it's not going too much further than that. Swaggy has no desire to be friends with Kaitlyn at the moment. Bayleigh said some pretty negative things about Tyler's game. She said she thought it was sloppy...

Our readers have been voting all week on which of the “Big Brother” Season 20 finalists is the biggest floater in the house, and the results are in. With 43% of the vote, West Hollywood dancer Jc Mounduix has officially been named the person most in need of a life vest, while Virginia welder Sam Bledsoe comes in just behind him at 39%. Rounding out our poll results, only 8% believe Brett Robinson is the biggest floater, compared to 6% for Kaycee Clark and 2% for Angela Rummans; everyone else comes in at 1% or lower.

After winning a power app way back in the second week of “Big Brother” Season 20, Tyler Crispen finally let it expire this week. “It turns out I didn’t really need it!” he bragged at the end of Wednesday’s Veto episode. Tyler’s special power was the Cloud, which would give him immunity at one nominations meeting or one Veto ceremony. Since his Level 6 alliance remained in control for most of the game, Tyler was rarely ever in danger. In fact, he’s only been on the block once in nine weeks, when Haleigh Broucher secretly nominated him as the hacker.

Angela Rummans is savoring her status as Head of Household for Week 9 of “Big Brother.” She won the title just hours after the eviction of Scottie Salton on August 23. Angela has been busy throughout the day on Friday (August 24) considering which of the two houseguests she will nominate this evening for the live eviction vote on August 30. We’ve been watching the live feeds and have all the juicy details of her various discussions with the other remaining contestants. (Keep reading for spoilers about the possible eviction nominations.)

As Week 7 Head of Household Haleigh Broucher wanted Kaycee Clark to be one of the two houseguests up for eviction on August 16; the other was Week 6 Hoh Angela Rummans. However Kaycee was able to remove herself from the firing line just hours after being nominated by Haleigh when she won the second-ever Hacker Competition last Friday.
Kaycee seemed safe from elimination this week, having named Angie “Rockstar” Lantry as her replacement to go up against Angela in Thursday’s live vote. It’s been a tumultuous two weeks in the “Big Brother” house thanks to the new Hacker Comp. First Angela Rummans‘ Head of Household reign was threatened when Haleigh Broucher became the hacker and switched up Angela’s nominations. Then Haleigh became the Hoh and the tables turned as Angela’s ally Kaycee Clark became the second hacker and messed up Haleigh’s game. Haleigh initially nominated Angela and Kaycee for eviction, but Kaycee removed herself and put up Rockstar Lantry instead. Did Wednesday’s Veto save either Angela or Rockstar, and did Haleigh’s true target Tyler Crispen save himself with his Cloud power app?

It’s been a long time since any “Big Brother” house has been this evenly divided between two powerful alliances, but we are eternally grateful that both the Foutte and Level 6 alliances have managed to last this long because it’s made for a suspenseful and dramatic 20th season. The two alliances have both seen huge losses and had their own internal betrayals while also equally trusting the swing votes of the players floating in the middle. According to “Big Brother” viewers, Angie “Rockstar” Lantry will be the sixth houseguest evicted from “Big Brother” on August 9. The 34-year-old homemaker from suburban Maryland was singled out for elimination in week 6 by Head of Household Angela Rumman. That 26-year-old fitness model from Southern California also nominated Scottie Salton, a 26-year-old shipping manager from Chicago.
On Friday, Haleigh Broucher won the first-ever Hacker Comp and swapped Scottie out with Tyler Crispen, a 23-year-old lifeguard from coastal South Carolina. America certainly doesn’t want to see Tyler leave the house this week. In our ongoing poll, he has registered a mere 26% of the vote while Rockstar has racked up a whopping 52% of the total tally. The other 22% want someone else evicted. If you haven’t cast your ballot yet, be sure to do so at the bottom of this post and then have your say in our comments section.

Angela Rummans won the Week 6 Head of Household competition shortly before the end of the live August 2 episode of “Big Brother.” She then had to decide which two #BB20 houseguests to nominate for the live eviction vote on August 9. Before she moved into the house, Angela revealed that she was all too aware that people can quickly turn on each other. To that end, she promised she was going to be wary of trusting anyone on “Big Brother.” But she also bragged, “I can find common ground with anyone. I like to call myself ‘the networking queen.'” And she has done just that, striking up an agreement with other houseguests to form the powerhouse Level 6.
So, after much deliberation she named Angie “Rockstar” Lantry and Scottie Salton as the targets for elimination. However, her plans were upended by Haleigh Broucher, who won the first-ever Hacker Competition on Friday. This...

A whopping 57% of “Big Brother” fans who voted in our recent poll think that Sam Bledsoe is a hypocrite for flirting with Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat just moments after scolding Haleigh Broucher and Kaitlyn Herman for doing the same thing. “From day one I have just absolutely adored you because I saw the real Fessy,” Sam cooed in Faysal’s ear after giggling and wrapping her arms around him while he was straddling her. Season 20 of “Big Brother” has seen the eviction of four houseguests. Traditionally at this point in the competition, that quartet would fight it out for the right to return by winning the Battle Back Showdown. This year, the producers thought of a different way of having one of the evictees return to the #BB20 house: the Bonus Life Power App. When its owner, Sam Bledsoe, didn’t use this power after the first three evictions of Steve Arienta, Chris “Swaggy C” Williams and Winston Hines, it was automatically given to the fourth houseguest sent packing, Kaitlyn Herman.
However, she suffered an epic fail on July 26 when she couldn’t put a life-size puzzle version of herself back together in the allotted time. “Big Brother” producers now face a quandary as to what to do next. There are only 12 houseguests remaining with nine weeks to go till the finale on September...
