Paul Prudhomme, the famous New Orleans chef who made redfish so popular it almost became extinct, has died. Prudhomme Big Easy restaurant, K-Paul's, has become a national landmark. He rolled out blackened redfish which became an obsession around the country, and introduced turducken to the world. He authored 9 cookbooks and his his own cooking show on PBS.
