Lionsgate has moved the limited launch of its Summit Entertainment hot awards contender, originally dated December 2.
La La Land will now open on December 9, while the wide expansion remains set for December 16.
Emma Stone, the Coppa Volpi best actress winner in Venice where the film received its world premiere, stars alongside Ryan Gosling. Damien Chazelle directed the film, his follow-up to Whiplash.
Noël Wells, Josh Radnor, Aya Cash, Carly Chaikin and Fortune Feimster have joined the cast of Cranium Entertainment’s F*Cking People, a dark rom-com about a commitment-averse young woman that is currently shooting in Austin, Texas. Theresa Bennett wrote the script and makes her directorial debut and executive producers Jeff Sackman and Berry Meyerowitz handle worldwide sales.
