How do you follow up a decade which many consider to have included the two single greatest gangster films in The Godfather (1972) AND The Godfather Part II (1974)? It's no easy task, but the 1980s (a time full of underrated little gems) was a great time for the gangster genre, featuring some of the best actors and directors of our time at the top of their cinematic game.
