Poll: Most Intelligent Screenplay of the Last 20 Years
Did you know the word 'intelligent' came from 'inter lego', which in Latin means "reading between"... and when you do read between the lines provided by these screenplays, you're able to measure the extent of 'intelligence' as a power and sometimes, a complex element of interaction with the matters of the heart, of life and social environment.
The following movies, all released in the last twenty years, were Oscar-nominated for Best Original or Adapted Screenplay and if they don't all deal with "intelligence" or the things of the mind, they have an educational value of their own and they respect OUR intelligence enough not to overloook them.
