- John Branion was born on 5 January 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was married to Anicetra Souza, Shirley Branion and Donna Mason Brown. He died on 8 September 1990 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

The actor died a year before the collapse of the Soviet Union, and in October 1991 his wife, Lydia Sukharevskaya, passed away.
