Born in New York City to legendary screen star Henry Fonda and Ontario-born New York socialite Frances Seymour Brokaw, Jane Seymour Fonda was destined early to an uncommon and influential life in the limelight. Although she initially showed little inclination to follow her father's trade, she was prompted by Joshua Logan to appear with her father in the 1954 Omaha Community Theatre production of "The Country Girl". Her interest in acting grew after meeting Lee Strasberg in 1958 and joining the Actors Studio. Her screen debut in Tall Story (1960) (directed by Logan) marked the beginning of a highly successful and respected acting career highlighted by two Academy Awards for her performances in Klute (1971) and Coming Home (1978), and five Oscar nominations for Best Actress in They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969), Julia (1977), The China Syndrome (1979), The Morning After (1986) and On Golden Pond (1981), which was the only film she made with her father. Her professional success contrasted with her personal life, which was often laden with scandal and controversy. Her appearance in several risqué movies (including Barbarella (1968)) by then-husband Roger Vadim was followed by what was to become her most debated and controversial period: her espousal of anti-establishment causes and especially her anti-war activities during the Vietnam War. Her political involvement continued with fellow activist and husband Tom Hayden in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In the 1980s she started the aerobic exercise craze with the publication of the "Jane Fonda's Workout Book". She and Hayden divorced, and she married broadcasting mogul Ted Turner in 1991.- Actor

Rutina Wesley is known for the character Tara Thorton, on the gritty
Southern vampire drama,
True Blood (2008). She was born in
the city most renowned for glitz and glamour, Las Vegas, Nevada and was
exposed to the arts at a very early age; in fact entertainment runs
through her veins. Her father,
Ivery Wheeler, is a noted tap dancer while
her mother, Cassandra Wesley, performed on the Vegas strip as a
showgirl. Rutina studied dance for years then earned an undergraduate
degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Evansville in
Indiana. She had the good fortune to be accepted by the acclaimed
Julliard School. During Rutina's stint at Julliard, she was fortunate
enough to spend a summer at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Fortune
was with Rutina again when one of her Julliard classmates,
Nelsan Ellis, reconnected with her when he
became her co-star on
True Blood (2008).
After leaving Julliard, Rutina was cast in the Broadway production of a
David Hare play, "The Vertical Hour"
opposite Bill Nighy. Rutina followed "The
Vertical Hour" with an appearance in the Public Theater production, "In
Darfur". Her small role in the hit movie,
Hitch (2005), was cut from the
completed film but that did not deter her from pursuing her dream. She
made another big-screen appearance, this time in the dance melodrama
How She Move (2007). She also guest
starred on the hit television show
Numb3rs (2005); however, her break
came when she signed onto the HBO production,
True Blood (2008).
True Blood (2008) is adapted from
the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire literary series by Charlaine
Harris and conceived for the small screen by
Alan Ball of
American Beauty (1999) and
Six Feet Under (2001).
Rutina's portrayal of Tara Thornton, a character whose caustic tongue
and tough manner conceal her vulnerability, helped make
True Blood (2008) a cult hit. The
success of True Blood (2008)
shocked naysayers when the vampire soap opera became a favorite of both
critics and audiences alike. We'll be seeing more of Rutina in 2010
when True Blood (2008) returns for

traveled throughout the country doing children's theater. For eight
years, he performed with the American Conservatory Theater in San
Francisco. Later, he became involved with avant-garde theater. He first
met David Lynch in the early 1970s
in Philadelphia while he was performing in a local theater, and Lynch
decided to cast him as the lead in
Eraserhead (1977). Originally, it was
to be a six-week shooting project, but due to budget restrictions and
technical complications, the production and filming took nearly five
years to complete. Nance relocated to Los Angeles in the early 1980s,
where he appeared in unusual and widely praised films that were not
always considered mainstream Hollywood. He has appeared in almost every
movie by Lynch, including the television series
Twin Peaks (1990), usually playing
secondary characters or quirky supporting parts. Nance died suddenly
and unexpectedly on December 30, 1996 from an apparent internal head
injury the morning after getting into a physical brawl at a donut shop
with some rowdy patrons. - Director

Danielle von Zerneck, founder of Wishing Floor Films, has produced over a dozen critically acclaimed feature films across a variety of genres, from true crime and young adult drama, to satire and holiday romance. Her dramatic works, including Poisoned Love: The Stacey Castor Story (based on a totally nuts true story) and No One Would Tell starring Shannen Dougherty, have garnered numerous awards and nominations, including awards from the Writers Guild of Canada, the Directors Guild, Leo Awards and Canadian Screen Awards. Danielle has partnered with notable collaborators such as the smart and witty writers Burt Royal (Easy A) and Roseanne showrunner, Eric Gilliland and fabulous women like Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding series), Fran Drescher (The Nanny), and Barbara Hershey (Beaches, Black Swan).
Danielle's passion for teen-focused projects, including the Recovery Road starring Sebastian DeSouza, Jessica Sula, and Hayley Lu Richardson for Freeform, have been ratings hits and given her the opportunity to tackle relevant and hot button issues, from mental and physical abuse in high school relationships to revenge-porn scandals.
Danielle has also made a name for herself innovating Christmas movies. Her LGBTQ-oriented holiday romantic comedies for Lifetime, such as The Christmas Set-Up (Lifetime's first ever Christmas movie about a same-sex romance), Under the Christmas Tree (its second) were both nominated for Best TV Movie at 2021 and 2022 GLAAD Awards.
Danielle has brought star-studded casts of comedians to the world of holiday. In 2021, she partnered with SNL alums Rachel Dratch and Ana Gasteyer to produce the Christmas movie send-up, A Clüsterfünke Christmas, for Comedy Central, which was heralded as "needlessly silly and entertaining from start to finish. It rises to the top of the Christmas-pile." (She is in development with Gasteyer and Dratch on a sequel.) Danielle's Audible Original Series, The Cinnamon Bear: A Holiday Adventure, which starred Alan Cummings, Milo Manheim, and Stephen Root, with Ryan Reynolds as Santa Claus, was recognized with a place on Audible's prestigious "Best of the Year" List in 2021.
Danielle learned her patience, relationship skills, and the power of craft services after 10,000 hours on sets both as a young actress (Donna in La Bamba and teen runaway, Lou, on General Hospital) and as the proud daughter of notable, ridiculously prolific and famously all-around good guy, TV movie producer Frank von Zerneck.- Actor

The son of Broadway and film star Zero Mostel, Joshua Mostel is every
bit the "heavyweight" that his father was -- perhaps even heavier. A
graduate of Brandeis University, Mostel followed his father's sizable
footsteps by going on-stage. His first major film appearance was as
King Herod -- complete with anachronistic psychedelic costuming, and
surrounded by go-go girls -- in Jesus Christ Superstar (1973). Of his
three regular assignments on series television, Mostel is probably
least proud of his role as Blotto, younger brother of John Belushi's
Bluto, in Delta House (1979), the mercifully short-lived TV spin-off
of National Lampoon's National Lampoon's Animal House (1978). Conversely, one of Joshua Mostel's
best film roles was the fish-peddling Uncle Abe in Woody Allen's Radio Days (1987).- Actor

Born Paul Wilchinsky on December 21, 1922, the son of Sol and Clara Wilchinsky, Paul Winchell grew up to be the most beloved ventriloquist of American children. Ironically, as famous as Paul was, his dummy, Jerry Mahoney, was probably more famous. Not since Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy in the previous two decades had a ventriloquist and his dummy known equal celebrity.
Entering the spotlight on the Edward Bowes
"Original Amateur Hour" (1948), he began working soon after in a review
show in which Major Bowes would showcase the winners of his radio
program. He started his television career on the CBS program
The Bigelow Show (1948) in
1948;
The Paul Winchell Show (1950),
originally called "The Spiedel Show," in 1950; and, finally, the
best-known of his shows
Winchell-Mahoney Time (1965).
With a clubhouse premise, his dummies Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead
Smiff--another of Paul's characters--as the clubhouse leaders, and the
music of the bandleader Milton Delugg. A
new innovation of Winchell's was to replace the dummy's hands with
those of puppeteers who were hidden behind the dummies in a crate.
Winch also played many serous dramatic roles on television without his
dummy sidekicks.
What may be even more famous is that he created the voice of Tigger for
the Walt Disney Company's "Winnie The Pooh" motion-picture series,
based on the famous books by A.A. Milne. He
played the role behind the scenes until 1999, when he was replaced by
Jim Cummings, who also voiced Pooh
from the time that Sterling Holloway
died. He was also the voice of many other world-famous cartoon
characters.
A little-known fact about Winchell is that he was one of the original
inventors of an artificial heart--years before the first successful
transplant with such of a device--an automobile that runs on battery
power, a method for breeding tilapia, and many other inventions that
are still around today.- Actress

Born in Manhattan, New York to Charles E. Martin, prolific cover artist
and cartoonist for the New Yorker magazine, and Florence Taylor, an
artist and homemaker; Jared began acting at the age of thirteen when
his parents gave him the choice of learning to play the piano or acting
in the local children theater group. At 14 he attended Putney school
where he continued his interest in theater and discovered sports. At
Columbia University he initially expected to take part in the athletic
programs, but later opted to focus on acting, as doing both took up too
much time. His roommate at Columbia was Brian De Palma. While acting in
plays and experimental films at Columbia and Sarah Lawrence College he
spent a summer apprenticing with Joseph Papp's Shakespeare in the Park.
After graduating college Jared tried the newspaper business, taking a
job at the New York Times as copy boy and thumbnail book reviewer for
the Sunday edition. Missing theater's excitement he left the Times and
joined a summer stock company in Cape May, New Jersey; then spent a
season with the Boston classical repertory, and eventually rejoined
Papp at his new Public Theater in Manhattan, where he played Laertes in
the modern rock-disco Hamlet with Martin Sheen and then Cleavon Little
in the title role. He continued acting off-Broadway and made an
unreleased film that caught the eye of a casting director at Columbia
Pictures, who encouraged him to seek a career in Hollywood. He waited
for his break for several years working as bartender, truck driver, and
landscaper until becoming visible in various roles during the mid
1970s; notably the cult classic 'Westworld', the martial arts thriller
'Men of the Dragon', and the short lived science-fiction series, The
Fantastic Journey co-starring Roddy McDowell and Carl Franklin. He is
best known for his role as Steven "Dusty" Farlow, son of Clayton Farlow
and boyfriend of Sue Ellen Ewing in the mega-hit Dallas. During and
after Dallas he alternated between living in Rome starring in European
films; and New York where he studied under Lee Strasberg, performed in
Broadway's 'Torch Song Trilogy', and did soap opera (One Life to Live).
In 1988 he relocated to Toronto to star in the TV version of War of the
Worlds as Dr. Harrison Blackwood. After W.O.W. was canceled in 1991
Jared spent the next 2 1/2 years traveling in Africa and China and
working on two novels. In 1994 entrepreneur Jeffrey Seder asked him to
direct a film for Mayor Ed Rendell's 'Heroes of the Streets' campaign
in Philadelphia. During location shooting he and Seder conceived the
idea of a film-production themed educational non-profit to serve
Philadelphia's inner city and migrant youth populations. Jared moved to
Philadelphia and became BPA's Creative Director for the next 15 years;
supervising over 2000 students and producing over 250 student films. He
personally directed 30 films, garnering awards from Cine Eagle,
Intercom, and the Chicago International Film Festival. After retiring
BPA in 2010 Jared has begun another career as a fine arts photographer,
studying under the painter Michael David.
While in Beijing in 1998 he met Chinese classical dancer Yu Wei. They
corresponded for two years and married in 2000. Jared has directed a
dozen short films for Wei, who tours extensively.
They live in Philadelphia's East Falls area and support a large
collection of animals including a tribe of freeloading raccoons.
Jared's son Christian is an executive at AETN. His two grandchildren,

He was married to Tracy Brooks Swope and Marie Olga Maturevich. He died on 16 June 2017 in Los Angeles, California, USA.- Sweet-voiced California native Vanessa Marquez had a passion for acting
from an early age and wanted to be a child actress like young starlets she
admired, such as Judy Garland, Shirley Temple, and Bessie Love. She sent
letters to producers and agents hoping to be noticed, and as they went
unanswered she still never lost sight of her dream. She finally got her big
break in 1987 as the adorable and academically-adept Ana Delgado in the
inspiring teacher drama Stand and Deliver (1988). As the script stated, Ana was
a flower ready to bloom; so was Vanessa. Her success with Stand and
Deliver led to a full-fledged film and television career: she had roles in
films like the gangster epic Blood In, Blood Out (1993) and the thought-provoking
independent flick Twenty Bucks (1993). Her television work includes guest
spots on popular programs including Seinfeld (1989) and Melrose Place (1992)
and recurring roles on ER (1994) and Malcolm & Eddie (1996). Also a talented

He is an actor, known for The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die (2023), The Last Kingdom (2015) and Arne Dahl: Mörkertal (2015). He is married to Kristin Samuelsson. They have two children.
- Born Luz Maria Cavazos in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey, she
moved with her family to Guadalajara when she was 7 years old. At the
age of 15 she was bitten by the acting bug, which led her to join a
theater group while still finishing her high school years. At 19 she
moved to Mexico City to study drama at the National University of
Mexico (UNAM) where she learned from teachers Luis de Tavira, Jose
Caballero and Ludvik Margules. During her last year in school she
auditioned for the role of Tita in Alfonso Arau's "Like Water for
Chocolate", which would eventually give her international acclaim and
recognition around the globe receiving the Best Actress Award at the
Tokyo International Film Festival. This led her to pursue a more
diverse career in cinema in the U.S., leaving her theater career on
hold for a few years, while she was working in independent films such
as Wes Anderson's "Bottle Rocket" co-starring Owen and Luke Wilson,
Allison Anders' "Sugar Town", Showtime's "In the Time of the
Butterflies" with Salma Hayek and Edward James Olmos, among many
others. While still maintaining her interest in American cinema, she
relocated to Mexico City where she is working on film and theater
productions. Her last credits include "Las Buenrostro", "Atlético San

she's preparing for an international co-production, due to be shot at
