It's the work of a modern feminist extremist 'Amazons sisterhood', whose ruthless leader Natasha Tripova breaks out of jail by sheer force. While working out they're after the legendary magical gold belt of Amazon queen Hippolyte, whom only Hercules could wrestle down and win as bride, Nigel gets abducted like Evans before to decipher inscriptions, which he does brilliantly. Sydney only comes to the rescue when he's already venturing into the booby-trapped mausoleum.
- Scotland Yard calls Sidney and Nigel to identify a 5th century murder weapon. It turns out to be the burial cross of King Arthur, but besides the victim several others are looking for it, and more killing follows while they search for it in its historical hiding place and unravel the murderous plot.
- Sydney and Nigel head to Nepal to recover Buddha's fabled overflowing alms bowl for villagers who are building a shrine to the original Buddha.
- When two graduate students on the trail of the Haitian Cross of Utu disappear in New Orleans, Sydney and Nigel go down on the bayou to find them.

- When Nigel is charmed by brilliant student Lorraine to show her their offices (and kiss), a burglar knocks out Sidney, but what was robbed? They find out in Madrid, where Professor Lamenza invited them to follow the trail of the Spanish crown hidden from Napoleons army by Carlos IV, the necessary filters to read lemon ink have been switched, and Lorraine is actually Reena, who has teamed up with her lover Raoul to get the crown which everyone goes in search of in Andalusia, while trying to get rid of the others.

- Pacific Northwest, 1398: A native American sees lights descending from the sky. 2002: Sydney is lecturing about said natives who faced a mysterious cataclysm 600 years earlier. A native brings her a relic from that era. What is its secret?
- Sydney and Nigel head to Larivee, California to find the Pioneer's Bear Flag.
- While Nigel rehearses his keynote speech in a Seville hotel room, a woman nearly breaks his nose demanding something. It turns out she was after the water from the Fountain of Youth, which the dying explorer Ponce de Leon sent to the Spanish king, who sent one bottle via the English ambassador to Elizabeth I. Nigel's brother Preston is desperate to find it in order to save his British Museum job. As Duke Andrew, the ambassador's heir, only agreed to see him within 48 hours, Preston and Sydney are off to England. Nigel stays for his speech and equally disastrous workshop but joins them by the time they are scheming against Sean James, a rival relic hunter and the duke's gambling creditor.
- While on a lecture tour with Nigel in Europe, Sydney is contacted by MI5 because she is the only one who can prevent an impending high-level assassination, according to a prophecy written by Nostradamus himself.
- Romania, 1830: The dying Romani king gives orders to hide the crown. Trinity College, 2000: Sydney receives a deck of rare tarot cards by mail from her friend who just died. The infamous Vulture was after him. Sydney enlists Claudia to help.
- An urn commissioned in a Cambodian monastery by the Chinese emperor for the remains of Confucius is about to be destroyed by systematic bombing of a whole province - so DeViega, Sidney's mentor's Gural Nataz murderer, tricks and kidnaps her and Nigel (and their secretary on the home front, as additional blackmail leverage) to get to it through a heavy mined area and decipher the I-ching on the way in before bombs hit it.
- New Guinea, 1522: A lancet bestows strength with its cut. 2001: Retrieving the lancet, Sydney and Nigel run into Nigel's look-alike just before his death. Nigel gets a cut from the lancet. Later, Cate persuades Nigel to impersonate the man.

- Sydney, Nigel and Claudia visit Athens, Greece to search the minotaur's maze for the legendary golden twine.
- NIgel awakes the obvious gay interest of dodgy New York (fake) art gallery owner and fence Lagerfeld when he and Sydney are begged by foxy antiquities museum curator Elizabeth Rukeyser to retrieve before the Egyptian exposition opens the golden statue of cat goddess Mafdet, stolen from her apartment, where she sneaked it out to. The heist bares the mark of cat burglar Roselyn, who attacks them but ends up murdered for the statue, which was bought by crooked diplomat Juan Escuevero. Nigel ends up kidnapped at blade-point to force Sydney to find it before the midnight ritual sacrifice of an ancient Pharaonic servants order, Lagerfeld stupidly stumbles inside their hidden temple.
- Sydney and Nigel are reunited with Stewie Harper, in the search for the Chalice of Truth in France.
- Sydney leaves weary Nigel to deal with the long-delayed accounting audit by foxy Maxine Schneider, as she can't wait to check out the Cleopatra exhibition at the Alexandria Museum. The jewel box on the brochure arouses inexplicable memories and knowledge of hieroglyphs in Claudia as if she were the reincarnated royal handmaiden, Iras. Her clues allow museum director Mohammed Kalifa to find a papyrus in a secret compartment, only to be stolen. His assistant Shareef is after the hidden necklace; the trail leads to a recent temple excavation.
- Sidney inherits from the best relic hunter of the previous generation a key, and rushes with Nigel on the hunt for the one treasure he never found: Pandora's box, which was guarded by the clan of the Persian sultanate of An-Najaf. The (equally fictitious) successor state is however in revolution, and though a resourceful local father proves a welcome guide in the capital, the military dictator has taken residence in the ancient palace, plundering all archaeological remains...

- Rome, 44 BC: An alchemist creates an impenetrable armor for Caesar. 2000: Sydney and Nigel are on a trip, so Claudia decides to help Sydney's friend Roger to find Caesar's Armor. But relic hunting is not her strongest talent.
- Sydney and Nigel are ambushed in Russia. Two weeks later, Sydney wakes up in the house of a man called Tsarlov, who claims to have saved her. However, Sydney understands soon something's wrong, and she's right: instead of hunting for relics, she's going to be hunted now.
- Hungary, 1595: In a monastery, Knight Gabriel impales a demon, which then turns to stone. 2001: Nigel and Sydney arrive bearing a letter from a monk, but the abbot claims it is a forgery and shuts them out. Sydney decides to dig deeper.
- Chicago 1930 - Sydney and Nigel are in Chicago to find Al Capone's gun.
- When Sidney and Nigel are about to enter the site of a Bristol lecture, a surprisingly young author on the Celts approaches them to follow up immediately on a tip about a map to the "astronomicons", the lost keys to the druid cult in Stonehenge, hidden since the Romans conquered Britain. The soon learn it is an occasion to steal the map from the Gurul Nataz, it comes with an armed bomb and the youngster is no author but Andreas, the honest son of Sid's arch-enemy Fabrice De Viega -who survived, as they suspected. Junior assures them he hates his dad even more, being duped in a boarding school since his mother's death, but it turns out Fabrice risks everything to help them in order to save Andreas' life - but can even this bizarre alliance brave the ruthless crime syndicate?
- St. Beatrice's School for Girls, 1981: Sydney sees her teacher shot by a scar-faced man over an Egyptian pendant. 2001: Sydney's roommate from school is on track of the pendant and enlists Sydney to help find it and catch the killer.
- Germany 1960 - Sydney and Nigel go to Germany to find a lost Elvis Presley guitar.
- Sydney and Nigel are in Milan, Italy to search for Casanova's lost Book of Love.
- Sydney and Nigel investigate how her childhood friend Naomi, now a diva fashion model, is disfigured and in hellish pains during a photo shoot when she puts on an historical mask, once worn by a French Revolution executioner. As this fits a legendary curse, they travel to his native city of Bourg, where the previous owner suffered the same fate until Naomi put on the mask. They consult a macabre French expert on executions, who helps them trace the mask back to an orphanage-turned-boarding school. A villain learns a nightmare lesson before the curse is lifted.
- When Sydney's plane crash-lands, she's asked by a group of nuns to find the body of another nun, who was decapitated several centuries ago.
- Sydney and Nigel go to Paris, France after the Sword of Jacques de Molay, Grand Master of the Knights Templar. Rival relic hunter Rita Rosellini is also after the sword.

- Kuba, Africa 100 AD: Worshippers of Woote curse his idol to protect it. 2000: Ross Crawford comes to Sydney, because he took the idol and the curse has accelerated his aging. And, if the idol isn't returned, Woote's wrath will be unleashed.
- Egypt, 1516 BC: Amun II is buried with his crook and flail. London, 2001: Working as consultants for an archeology adventure film, Sydney and Nigel realize the Pharaoh's "props" are genuine, long thought lost relics. How can they be?
- Nigel has personal reserves about Sidney's next mission, the search for Tudor king Henry VIII's missing engagement ring for Anne Boleyn, as the case is presented by his ever-rivaling elder brother Preston Bailey, as executive in the British Museum. There CEO Dr. Anthony Cureton bluntly rejects their help, actually being in dirty dealings with a dodgy relic hunter, whose henchman fails to arrest the Bailey quest, which deciphers Henry's artistic riddles one by one in London and Leeds castle, while the brothers' ex/girl Amanda Reardon two-times them viciously.
- 2001: An anonymous Sultan's wife Danielle dies in mysterious circumstances in the desert. However, she had called for Sydney to help. Sydney believes Danielle was searching for the Star of Nadir, that would prevent a civil war.
- Bekkastan, 1401 AD: warrior princess Kahina proves her right to rule. 2002: Sydney and Nigel unearth a cave painting that might lead them to Kahina's Saddle. But her descendants cause complications.
- 2000: According to local monks, the Famed Jade Empress is hidden in the valley that will be flooded when the Three Rivers Dam's flood gates have their grand opening. Sydney's dad asks her to come to Hong Kong to find the statue.
