- A portrait of a Nazi officer, the commander of a concentration camp, touches on the contradictory sides of his personality - on the one hand, a caring, nurturing family man, on the other, a ruthless Nazi, applying a policy of extermination without restraint. It is this man, who takes on 13-year-old Emilka, a Czech girl destined for "re-education"; through her eyes, we then see the imposed family, the complex formation of relationships with a man who tries to treat her kindly. The little girl goes through a painful discovery of true reality. During her stay in Germany, she tries not to forget her real home and believes that she will meet her mother once more in her life and return.
- The four best friends are confident, smart, having fun, discussing men, relationships and sex. But they're also taking care of kids, or they just had kids, or they're pregnant. Sara has a nice ass, so she started taking pictures of it and living in the world of social media. Hedvika lives in a bit of a golden cage, her workaholic husband isn't home much, so it's no wonder she's charmed by the young busker David. Zuzana, after her break-up with Kamil, is penniless, just a worked-up and hurried mother of two. Slovak immigrant Eliska, on the other hand, has a great boyfriend, unbearable parents, is pregnant and is sick of everything.
- The fairy tale tells the story of an orphan, Zito, whose life since birth has brought him many injustices, but only until the widowed devil Filistýna falls in love with him. She enables him to correct, through magic, the sinful deeds committed by commoners and rulers alike. Little does the boy know that the ability to cast spells has been bestowed on him by the devil in love only to trick him into hell, even on the day Zito is to marry his beloved Adelka. Will the tiny but clever Zito manage to get out of hell not only Adelka, himself, but also the herbalist who found and raised him as an infant in a field of rye?
- Three Fates come to the castle to predict the fate of little Prince Leopold. On the way they stop at the commander of the guards, who has also just had a son. His prediction is not very glorious. Hynek is supposed to be a mischievous boy who will think mainly of food. Little Leopold is predicted by the Fates to marry the daughter of a neighboring king. The prince and princess hate each other as children from the first moment, but their parents insist on fulfilling the prophecy. On the day of their marriage, Leopold and Josephine discover a way to thwart it. They steal the magical watch from the Fates and use it to go back to the time of the prince's birth to prevent the Fates from making the prediction. They succeed in doing so, but on their return they discover what they have done not only to themselves, but to the kingdom as a whole.
- Matej Hurka, an eighteen-year-old bricklayer's apprentice and volunteer fireman who lives with his grandmother in a picturesque village, loves nature and would like to be a forester. In addition, however, he experiences his first love for the pretty Barca Cupalová, who has returned to her parents after a long stay in a distant county town. Matej is too shy, however, and before he can get his groove on at the dance that evening, Barca is taken away from him by the sovereign dude Evzen. And while his grandmother is wondering how to announce to her grandson, whom she is raising alone after his mother's death, that she is going to marry the energetic pensioner Vokurka, Matej is struggling with his own love problems and other rather delicate difficulties. A meeting of the cooperative's board of directors addresses his transgression against morality when he took an evening swim in a forest pond and "clashed" with the girls, who were also bathing, naked of course.
- A children's fantasy comedy about little Lucie, the nasty leader of the boys' party Osvald and two magical characters from the plasticine. Lucie is a six-year-old girl who can't wait to go to school for the first time. And since all her friends are still on holiday, she has no one to play with. Osvald's fifth-grade group doesn't care about little girls. Unless she proves her mettle by shoplifting. Lucie goes to the department store and reaches for a box of plasticine. And this is the beginning of an extraordinary adventure, for out of the box come two magical plasticine figures who become Lucie's mythical friends with whom she will have the most wonderful adventure at the end of the summer. Directly followed by ...a zase ta Lucie! (1984).
- Once upon a time, there was a band of robbers, ruled by Lotrando, the robber of robbers. He took from the poor and the rich, and gave generously to his cronies. His son had long since outgrown his childhood shoes, so Lotrando decided that his son would get a good education. At the same time, by the Sargasso Sea in the Sultanate of Soliman, the Sultan is agonizing over the mysterious illness of his beautiful daughter Zubeida. Will the princess recover with the arrival of Lotrando and his new friend, the double doctor Drnec, or not?
- Matej, a likable shepherd, has a good heart, cleverness to spare and, apart from puzzles, he also likes Majdalenka, the daughter of the farmer he works for. Majdalenka reciprocates his love, but her father has already chosen another groom for her, Jakub, the son of the town clerk. Nothing is lost, however, because Matej has rescued a white pigeon, who in return has brought a magical strawberry, thanks to which he and his beloved understand the language of birds. When the peasant throws Matej out, the young man goes to the castle, where he is currently competing in a riddle for the hand of Princess Rosemary. Whoever guesses three will get to marry her. Unlike the others, Matej is not deterred when the king announces an amendment that those who fail to guess will lose their ears and nose.
- A comedy about what one summer storm, one city ordinance, a set of golf clubs, rock and roll and one very angry daughter can do.
- A truck driver Charvát returned from prison six months ago. His colleagues know his past, but in front of his landlady and her 10-year-old son, Charvát comes across as a man of integrity and reliability. One weekend night, the man gives a lift to two female students who missed the last train. Unable to control his repressed desires, he rapes one of the girls and murders them both in a remote location. Their bodies are disposed of in a large dump. But the corpses are discovered the next day by an old forester, and the search is on.
- Jitka, an untrained 16-year-old hairdresser, runs away from the youth home and returns to a group of hooligans led by a young man named Vilda. They all hang out in Prague's arcades and make their money by petty theft and fraud. One day Jitka takes a liking to Tonek, a waiter's apprentice. The girl returns his feelings, but at the same time she doesn't want to drag him down. But her cronies have no scruples. And so Tonek becomes a member of their gang.
- The popular folk singer Jaro Zárubecký, a former waiter, follows the motto "A man is not what he is, but what people think of him", and that is how he is raising his son Pavel. He lives only for him. Even though he feels successful, he still tries to equal those "above" him out of a certain feeling of inferiority and wants to bring his son to that level. He learns that Pavel is in a group of boys who, for lack of other interests and as a dare, let off gas so that whoever shuts it down becomes a "coward". Zárubecký is willing to protect his son even at the cost of losing his job and his life partner.
- The three main characters are Michal, an airplane mechanic, Marie, a fashion designer, and ten-year-old Honzík, who form a seemingly happy, well-adjusted family. Michal goes out with his son to fly aeronautical models, while his mother works on her designs and they spend weekends together at the cottage by the pond. However, the first moments of unrest, caused mainly by the workload of the ambitious Marie, start to creep into the peaceful relationship. She is currently preparing the costumes for a stage play. It is her first job for the theatre and since she wants to make a name for herself in this field, the result is important to her. She finds it hard to bear that her designs have not been received with enthusiasm, and she is slowly starting to get into a time crunch.
- Renata is the happy mother of a seven-year-old daughter and she and her partner, journalist Ivan, live in a First Republic wooden cabin on the bank of a flooded quarry. The place is idyllic, but the relationship between Renata and Ivan is more complicated. Ivan is now a forgotten curmudgeon, while Renata, who has become a director, is at the height of her powers. She meets a new and fierce love and must painfully decide this unexpected problem.
- A married couple - she's a marriage officiant, he's a marriage counselor. The couple would of course like to live together, but they cannot exchange their two unsuitable flats for a larger one. The marriage counseling center is a hot call for a couple who want to divorce and need two flats.
- One evening, two fairies - Worry and Fortune with their young assistant Mina - are walking through old Prague. As it is Fortune's birthday, she decides to give people a gift - she enchants quite ordinary slippers to fulfill the wearer's every wish. The slippers then change hands that evening and everything they have ever dreamed of suddenly becomes a reality. But what people wish for is often very tricky, and it may not always bring one the desired happiness. Rather, it happens to be misery. Even Fortune becomes convinced of this when she realizes that happiness is something everyone must earn for themselves.
- A young lawyer, Mr. Belousek, has the seemingly trivial task of bringing a slightly bohemian vagabond from Prague to Olomouc for trial. Everything should be easy and simple, but the owner of the law firm and the father of the protagonist has an exceptional personal interest in this task, so from the beginning the journey is influenced by Murphy's first law "Anything can go wrong..." Instead of three hours in the car, Belousek ends up spending several days on the road with the eccentric Pete.
- Tereza is a sculptor and her husband Adam is a film director. She is suffocating in the relationship, she has no space and cannot concentrate on her work. The stagnant waters of this vicious situation only move when Adam's brother Majky shows up.
- Michal, a young waiter who works in a restaurant, gets into trouble when he is robbed of the proceeds he was supposed to deliver to the bank on his boss's orders. Since he is on probation, he realizes that no one will believe him and pretends that everything is fine. At the same time, he asks for help from his friend, Tomás, a taxi driver, who borrows sixty thousand crowns from Adamec, a dangerous extortionist. Since the loan is only for a week and at twenty percent interest, they both start looking for money.
- One morning on his way to school, Cestmír Trnka tripped over the Blue Stone and suddenly found himself on the Planet of Flowers. He experienced incredible things there and brought back seeds from which he grew flowers whose scent gave him the ability to age and fly. Such a possibility, as you will recognize, Cestmír had to take advantage of.
- Three unmarried sisters, Katka, Eliska and Magda, go for an extended wellness weekend to a luxury hotel in Spindleruv Mlyn. Katka, the oldest, hates her job, where she spends so much time that she has no chance to make friends. Magda is a tattooed free-thinker and the youngest, Eliska, who thought up the whole trip, is quite a successful model. The ladies plan to ski and pick up some rich men. However, there was a mistake in the booking system and all three end up in alternative accommodation, which is far from luxurious.
- A cult Czech musical from director Ladislav Rychman has remained popular with generations of Czech viewers for its sympathetic portrayal of young rebellion, timeless humor, and catchy songs courtesy of Jirí Malásek, Jirí Bazant and Vlastimil Hála.
- Fascist Slovak State, Christmas Day 1944: regardless of this important Christian holiday, cruel Nazi repression is taking place in Slovakia. Men, women and children are executed by the hundreds by the Germans for taking part in the Slovak National Uprising and for merely helping the partisans. The Kubis family tries to survive the war as best they can, even if it means collaboration. Son Marian is a commander of the fascist guards, his cynical brother-in-law Palo runs a business and tries to keep a low profile as much as possible. Palo's wife Angela has begun an affair with Nazi Major Brecker, who is staying with the Kubis. However, a serious threat to everyone, including the grandparents, comes from their nineteen-year-old son Juraj, who fought with the partisans and managed to escape execution. The young man arrives home with an injured leg. While the Germans carry out house-to-house searches for the fugitive, Juraj waits in the attic for medical help and begins to delirious with fever. An "idyllic" Christmas Eve dinner takes place downstairs, to which Major Brecker himself has invited himself.
- Third wine session, this time with a computer. 'Young Wine' was made in direct relation to the audience success of the previous two: 'Stormy Wine' and 'Ripe Wine'. In the comedy-oriented story, the computer is an important element, around which all the events actually revolve. Its future lies in the hands of those who do not yet know how to use it.
- The story about the love of 19-year-old Ondrej and 17-year-old Alena. Ondrej's parents want to meet the girl of their beloved son, so Alice goes to the visit. Unfortunately, the seemingly peaceful visit of the girl to Ondrej's parents takes a completely unexpected turn, thanks to his mother, and a quarrel breaks out between the women and Alena leaves. Ondrej does not want to give up his love and apologizes to Alena for his parents' behavior. Despite the reluctance of Ondrej's parents, the young people even start planning a future together and even a wedding. However, the protest that the young hero of the story wanted to make suddenly turns against his best interests and the tempting chance that presents itself.
