- While playing baseball, Mickey runs into the street to catch a fly ball and is struck by a car. When the gang visit him in the hospital they are appalled to find the ward populated by many other children injured in automobile accidents. The Our Gang resolve to do something about the problem, and thus the "1-2-3-Go Safety Society" is born.
- A sheriff saves a Mexican from being hanged for horse theft. In a gesture of thanks, the Mexican writes the word "gratitude" upon a card. After rending the card in two, he gives one half to the sheriff. Many years later the sheriff, still carrying his half of the "gratitude" card, becomes the captive of desperados. One of these greasy varmints grabs a tobacco pouch from the bound sheriff's pocket, noticing the timeworn card...
- Alfalfa thinks that his own aunt is plotting to murder him.
- A brother and his two younger sisters inherit a modest amount from their father. When the brother is away, their shady housekeeper decides to take it for herself.
- Mickey's mother is about to deliver her fourth child. But Mickey, after reading in the almanac that one out of every four children born into the world is Chinese, is afraid the baby will be Chinese. Frightened at this prospect, the Our Gang drop by to visit Lee Wong, the son of the Chinese laundry man. They hope to learn what to expect of an oriental baby. In the process the Our Gang save Lee Wong from some politically incorrect bullies. In gratitude, Lee Wong's mother invites the Our Gang for lunch. The gang is relieved when the meal turns out to be ham and eggs rather than the fried mouse tails which they were expecting.
- This documentary is produced by one of the world's foremost authorities and biographers of Edwin S. Porter. Since little is known of Porter's personal life, the emphasis here is on his technique and contributions to the art of the cinema. This film also serves as a documentary on the origins of the American cinema; Porter's work is showcased in the context of the whole American cinema of his day, from mutoscope parlors to the advent of the projected image.
- This short film examines the role in mid-20th century America of superstitions, personal rituals, taboos, talismans, and the black arts.
- Before CNN, cam-corders, and communications satellites, the only way to view exotic locales was on real film that might take weeks or months to arrive from the far corners of the world. The raison d'etre for this program was to bring that film to the television viewer. Each week some adventurer would be asked to narrate his 16 mm home movies for the viewing audience. The film might be from the Amazon jungle or the arctic regions of northern Alaska. Teenage boys were drawn to the show not only by the adventure but also by the occasional fleeting glimpse of some native woman's bare breast.
- Fatty invents a liquid with a property that makes objects resilient and unbreakable. Unfortunately, in his rush to get out of the house to demonstrate his invention, he unknowingly grabs a jar of hard cider instead of the jar which holds his wonder liquid. To make matters worse, as he drives to the demonstration, a football-sized beehive falls from a tree onto the cargo bed of his truck.
- An abandoned old show boat is moored in a lazy creek. Our Gang puts the old vessel back to use when they stage a show featuring "Darla's Dancin' Dandies" and a "meller dramer" entitled "Out in the Snow You Go". All is not smooth sailing, however, as Butch seeks revenge for having been excluded from the cast.
- The Our Gang kids put on a circus in the barn to raise money to help Porky's family pay the rent and avoid getting evicted.
- On Mickey's birthday, Miss Pipps, the school teacher, serves cake and ice cream during school hours. Sour old Mr. Pratt, head of the school board, stumbles on the festivities and has Miss Pipps fired. The Our Gang conspire to save her job by inviting all the parents to a special meeting. There the gang stage a melodrama, with Mr. Pratt portrayed as Simon Legree. The parents react by demoting Mr. Pratt to janitor. They appoint kindly Mr. Swanson, the current janitor, to head the school board. And of course they reinstate Miss Pipps as school teacher. Sometime later, in an act of forgiveness, Miss Pipps and the gang hold a birthday party for Pratt who is then humbled by the experience.
- A Texas Ranger avenges his brother's death and evidence points to a woman behind the crime.
- Mr. Henry owns a service station next to young Mrs. Baker's lunch counter. He is too shy to get the words out and tell Widow Baker that he loves her and her young son. The day of the town's annual fathers and sons picnic arrives. The Our Gang ask Mr. Henry to take Mickey Baker along since the boy's father is dead. The picnic goes well and Mr. Henry gets the courage to ask Mrs. Baker for her hand in marriage, and she happily accepts.
- Two business partners pursue the same woman. She accepts the marriage proposal of the irresponsible partner, much to her later regret. He squanders money on gambling, as his interest in her gradually wanes. One day after losing the company money in a card game, he decides to commit suicide. He telephones his wife from the office, as he puts a revolver near his head. The wife tries to keep him talking while the reliable business partner races to the office in an attempt to save his old friend. Will he make it in time?
- Siegfried, son of King Siegmund of Xanten, sets off on a treacherous journey to the Kingdom of Burgundy to ask King Gunther for the hand of his sister, the beautiful Princess Kriemhild.
- "This scene shows a crowd of newsboys running to meet the 'World' newspaper delivery wagon, and falling back to the point of distribution. There is a mad scramble for papers, and fight between two of the gamins."
- A big monkey has escaped from the circus, and Buckwheat sees it enter the neighborhood "haunted house." Buckwheat tries to tell his friends, but they don't believe him because he has been fibbing lately. To teach him a lesson, the gang dress Froggy up in a monkey suit and have him posted inside the "haunted house." They take Buckwheat inside, but the joke backfires when the Our Gang are pursued by the real monkey . . .
- It is a week before Dr. Kildare's wedding to pretty Nurse Mary Lamont. The hospital is a-buzz with preparation for the big day. Good old Dr. Gillespie, despite fatigue, has agreed to help a prominent orchestra conductor regain his hearing. But soon tragedy strikes . . . will the hospital ever be the same?
- A Quebecois Elvis impersonator is disillusioned to find a Chinaman participating in an Elvis contest. He later takes his wife on vacation to the island of Santa Banana.
- This early docudrama shows Auburn Prison and recreates the electrocution of Leon Czolgosz, the assassin of President McKinley of the United States. Some versions offer additional footage at the beginning which shows McKinley on the day of his assassination followed by scenes from his funeral.
- When this film was being made in 1938, Pearl Harbor was almost four years away. Poland had not been invaded yet. However, World War II was raging in Asia, where the Japanese perpetrated ghastly horrors upon the conquered populations. This contemporaneous Chinese film focuses upon one family's fate amidst the atrocity.
- Alfalfa tries to back out of a fight by pretending to be incapacitated.
- A father, anxious for his son's financial well being, develops a special soda pop called Dopokoke which is laced with cocaine. Dopokoke is advertised as relief "for that tired feeling." The drink is a success, but the son becomes addicted to it, much to his father's regret. Loosely based on the allegations that the Coca-Cola company and other soft drink manufacturers laced their soda with dope.
- An RKO-Pathe Screenliner short. A look at the duties of the modern nurse. The story tracks the education of a student nurse as she works toward graduation and shows the earning of her cap during her student days, in retrospect. At the beginning, she wears the Student Nurse uniform dress and apron only, with no cap. She appears later in the movie as a more experienced Senior student with her cap already bearing a stripe. This was frequently done in the three year hospital programs to differentiate the Junior level students from the Seniors, more experienced and closer to Graduation. The capping ceremony illustrated shows the bare-headed students receiving their plain white cap and addressing it as something from her past that she will remember fondly.

- Porter's sequential continuity editing links several shots to form a narrative of the famous fairy tale story of Jack and his magic beanstalk. Borrowing on cinematographic methods reminiscent of 'Georges Melies', Porter uses animation, double exposure, and trick photography to illustrate the fairy's apparitions, Jack's dream, and the fast growing beanstalk.
- Janie is a scatterbrained, high spirited teenage girl living in the small town of Hortonville. World War II causes the establishment of an Army camp just outside town. Janie and her bobby-soxer friends have their hearts set aflutter by the prospect of so many young soldiers residing nearby. Which fella will they choose? But if Janie's family has a say in the matter.
- The Boys Scouts give a demonstration of their camping skills, but the Our Gang kids are excluded from participating because they are not yet old enough to be members. Undeterred, the boys head off on their own unsupervised camping adventure, with comically disastrous results.
- Amiable, wisecracking piano teacher Polly becomes involved with some shady music publishers. She also happens to be infatuated with her music-loving dentist Henry, who is not quite as romantically inclined as she is. Polly manages to ensnare her roommate Eileen, Eileen's fiance Jimmy, and Henry in some shenanigans involving the rights to the song "Kansas City Kitty." The comedy is mixed with several up-tempo novelty tunes from the Big-Band era.
- Rich 'Old Man' Bill Morton is a hypochondriac. After bringing new sugar pills to Bill Morton's house, his physician, Doctor Malcolm Scott suggested to Bill Morton's wife that adopting a child might help cure Mister Morton of his delusions. After overhearing their conversation, Bill Morton quickly invited the "Our Gang" members, (as they were at the front come to the door, offering to work and pay for a broken window pane, that had just occurred) to a lunch, in order to sour his wife's thoughts of adopting any children. Then, the unexpected occurs as Alfalfa's two twin little brothers, Tisket and Tasket got to Bill Morton's medications' table, they ate up a majority of them, leading Bill Morton to call his physician, Malcolm Scott back to his house, immediately! When, Doctor Malcolm Scott return to Bill Morton's house, he laughs at what he hears and then tells Bill Morton they are worthless sugar pills, teaching a lesson to Bill Morton he is not sick at all.
- It is the day before Christmas. Gila Diaz is a young adolescent girl, the oldest child in a large rural Tex-Mex family. She is frustrated with her family's poverty and the drudgery of her life in caring for her many younger siblings. Gila's parents drag her and the family to midnight Mass. They go to hear the Pastorela, a traditional play about the shepherds who are told of the the birth of Christ and the triumph of the God's angels over Satan's diablos. Gila is knocked unconscious by a prop and suddenly she is transported into the real story of the Pastorela and begins a frightening fantastic quest to Bethlehem to find the Christ Child's manger.
- A fireman rushes into a carriage to rescue a woman from a house fire. He breaks the windowpanes and carries the woman to safety; after dangerous and uncertain moments he also saves the woman's son.
- The Our Gang are trying to solve the Greenpoint Department Store's murder mystery contest, but they witness a real shooting and burglary instead. The crooks, fearful of witnesses, kidnap Froggy, Mickey, and Buckwheat, but Janet escapes and informs the police. But the police refuse to believe such a young girl. How will she save her friends?

- In this short subject the employees of the Homey Foamy Washing Machine factory decide to put on a show. It is picked up by a Broadway producer. The show moves on to Broadway, and the factory suffers the loss of key employees. The owners try to get the workers to return to their old jobs.

While holding the poor intruder at gunpoint, the rich wife accidently discovers evidence implicating her own husband in a bribery scheme . . .
- Three department-store girls--Connie, Franky, and Jerry--share an apartment on West 91st Street in New York City. Each earns little more than $20 per week. Jerry is the sensible one, but the others throw themselves at amoral rich men in an attempt to hook one and better themselves. They end up being hurt and disappointed despite Jerry's attempts to warn them.
- The gang is putting on a show with Alfalfa billed as "King of the Crooners." But Alfalfa abandons the show saying his crooning days are over, and that opera is his true calling. But after taking a nap and dreaming of a successful future in popular music, he changes his mind and joins the rest of the gang for the closing number.
