- An unknown old core memory of Andromeda is accidentally activated, and takes the crew on a secret deadly mission.
- While the Andromeda is hosting a diplomatic conference, Harper encounters a reporter who is able to remove the Magog larvae from his guts. She offers to remove them all in exchange for the information Harper previously had downloaded into his brain. A high-ranking member of the Sabra-Jaguar pride arrives at the conference unannounced to join the Commonwealth.
- The Magog eggs in Harper's belly are close to hatching. Harper and Hoone work on a device to bend time and space to extract the eggs. But the device has unforeseen consequences. Future selves, old allies, old/new enemies all collide on Andromeda.
- Andromeda gets word of a fleet of Highguard ships in Tartarus. Dylan, Rommie and Tyr go after Ryan, an AI with knowledge of the location. But Ryan has a history with the fleet, which creates difficulties when they finally locate the fleet. Beka, Harper, and Trance, work on get more worlds to join the Commonwealth.
- At finally achieving his goal of fifty parties willing to join the New Commonwealth, Dylan hosts the signing of the New Commonwealth charter on board the Andromeda. With all the delegates aboard, he takes them to a barren system to avoid any interference from outside sources, but does not succeed. He finds that Andromeda now has other passengers on board, who can phase through walls and make themselves invisible. Worse yet, these intruders seem intent on killing everyone on board, starting with the delegates. Trance reveals that when this happened before only she and Beka survived, but Dylan refuses to let anyone else be killed.
- The crew gets news of a colony that was formed when Dylan's Fiancee' escaped the fall of the Commonwealth. The colony has flourished. They have heard of the new Commonwealth. Some want to join, others feel they shouldn't. Some are willing to do anything to swing the vote their way.
- The knights of Genetic purity start attacking a cluster of Nietchean prides. Andromeda tries to stop them. Tyr searches for Orca pride, Freya has given birth to his son, the genetic reincarnation of Drago Museveni. He'll do anything to protect them.
- Dylan and Rommie go into the Magog world ship to rescue Tyr, Harper and Rev. In case he's not successful, he orders Beka to use maximum force to destroy the Magog world ship, and with it, Andromeda.
- Trance tries to pilot the Andromeda through slipstream, and the crew ends up traveling back in time, to the time just before the Commonwealth fell. The crew must decide whether to take actions that could endanger the future.
- Tyr leaves the Andromeda while it is in dry-dock for repairs to seek out other survivors of his pride. Dylan and the rest of the crew remain to see off the newest Commonwealth battleship, the Resolution of Hector. The AI to be installed in the Hector was derived from Andromeda and the former AI of the Wrath of Achilles, who was destroyed in a prior mission. Matters become complicated when Romy leads a strike force to take control of the Resolution of Hector.
- While Trance has taken off on unannounced expedition, Beka alerts Dylan to a lead she's discovered of her former client, Gerentex is about to go on; the remains of a derelict High Guard starship, the Pax Magellanic, and find the last of the crew over 300 years old, but seemingly unaffected by age.
- In an attempt to allow the Andromeda and the unarmed fleet she's escorting to pass through a Drago-Kazov controlled system, Dylan and Tyr assault a base controlling old High Guard turrets along the route, but one of the convoy ships gets lost, so Beka takes the Maru to look for it.
- Harper, Rev, Tyr wait for Rommie in the Maru. Rommie's on a mission to find out about a new weapon being developed. Once their contact find out she's an AI, he becomes wary of Rommie. The AIs on the planet had revolted against their creators years ago.
- Andromeda encounters a badly damaged vessel and rescues the survivors. They discover the Than had been attacking the vessel, and they return to finish the job. Then the casualties from the vessel come to life and try to infect the crew. Can the crew find a way to stop the attacks and keep the causalities down permanently?
- A planet asks the Andromeda for help when its cargo vessels are attacked by unknown vessels. Trance goes down to the planet to find out more about the people, and ends up being interrogated about her past.
- Tyr makes his move. He has convinced the Nietzscheans he's the genetic reincarnation of Drago Museveni - progenitor of his race. The Nietzscheans break away from the Commonwealth, and Tyr tries to force Dylan into a decision to either save his crew or sacrifice Andromeda.
- The Andromeda finds a Calderan ship ravaged by what appears to be a Vedran, the creator race of the first Commonwealth. Dylan decides to find the Vedran on Ral Parthea, the nature reserve planet dear to the Vedrans.
- Whilst being chased by Ogami, the Maru's saved by a large ship which is the Bellerophon, a long lost starship from Earth.
- Captain Dylan Hunt attempts to drive the invaders from his ship. He manages to scare Gerentex off, but he leaves many of his employees behind. He takes the Maru and uses it to send the Andromeda, still without engine power, on a course back into the black hole. The remaining scavengers work with Dylan to regain engine control and break free from the gravity well. Once free, they regain control of the Maru from Gerentex and Dylan invites the survivors to join his crew and reestablish the Commonwealth.
- 2 competing Nietchean prides will form an alliance and free 2 systems... if Andromeda will escort the bride-to-be to her wedding.
- The Commonwealth vessel Andromeda, captained by Dylan Hunt, responds to a distress call only to find it's a trap. Warships surround them and open fire. In a last ditch attempt, Capt. Hunt evacuates the ship and it gets trapped in the gravity well of a black hole where time slows dramatically. Centuries later a scavenger party wants to pull the ship from its position but they're not counting on there being anyone left alive onboard.
- Andromeda starts running a complete diagnosis on Rommie, after it determines her inability to remain emotianally detached - cuttng off her all her access. At the same time, the crew's under a Magagog attack, and this situation leaves them virtually defenceless.
- A newly colonized planet of the Commonwealth comes under attack by Pyrian "pyroformers", but when Dylan destroys the machines, the Pyrian fleet arrives to defend its property. Dylan hopes to talk them out of their goals, but they are not deterred. Dylan is forced into a battle he did not want, one where he is outmatched.
- An ambassador returning from purportedly successful peace talks with the Magog's aboard a Commonwealth ship when it's attacked. The only survivors are the seriously injured ambassador, and the pilot; a Nietzschean from a supposedly extinct pride,
- The Earth explodes before Harper makes his visit, the Andromeda manages to save Harper from destruction and runs from a Nietzschean attack fleet coming from the ruins of the planet. Analyzing fragments of the destroyed planet, Romy finds radical isotopes, proof that the Abyss aided the Nietzscheans in the destruction of Earth. Dylan consoles Harper for his loss, then prepares for the battle against the joined Nietzschean fleet, comprised of the Drago-Kazov, Mandau, and Sabra-Jaguar fleets.
- While preparing the corpse of Dylan's former first officer and friend, Gaheris Rhade, for transport to the remainder of his clan, the Andromeda experiences something strange. A live Rhade appears before Beka and Trance to destroy the tesseract machine. Trance warns him against it and sparks a flashback to this Gaheris's past, in which he killed Dylan at the onset of the Nietzschean rebellion, but was trapped in time like Dylan. In this alternate timeline, Rhade takes command of the Andromeda and attempts, with the aid of the crew of the Maru and a hologram of Dylan, to reestablish the Commonwealth and drive back the Magog threat.
- Andromeda investigates a "mythical" beast that eats planets. They soon discover it's real and are promptly swallowed by the beast. With Dylan on the outside trying to figure out how to save his ship and crew, each member of the crew is plagued by doubts about their mission on board the Andromeda
- Trance runs through a series of possible outcomes to save the crew from a scourge.
- Half the crew's captured. Harper works on a time bridge for the Partriarch. The other half tracks down a smuggler.
- The Sabra-Jaguar pride goes to war with the Drago-Kazov, pulling Dylan and the Andromeda along with them, as per the terms of the Commonwealth treaty. Harper receives a message from a friend on Earth pledging his support for driving the Drago-Kazov clan off of Earth. Harper attempts to get the crew of the Andromeda to head for Earth to liberate it, but Dylan refuses to take the Andromeda to Earth. Instead, Harper takes the Maru with Rommie in tow to help with the resistance.
- After Harper's attacked by a dying Perseid, he gains a level of intelligence much greater than usual. A bounty hunter arrives for the dead Perseid, and Dylan looks into why the Persed was wanted. Unable to sleep, Harper begins to speak in various foreign languages, repair the ship, and invent new gadgets. The bounty hunter returns - to recover the information the Perseid lost.
- Tyr returns and he's sided with the Collectors against his former crew. He wants the map for the Route of Ages.
- The Andromeda attempts to defend a freighter from a Restorian fighter, but in its last moments the fighter rams the freighter, destroying it and all 536 aboard. However unlikely, one escape pod escaped the explosion carrying a humanoid android named Gabriel, who claims to be a teacher fleeing from his oppressors. An admiral representing the Free Trade Alliance arrives offering information on the Restorian flagship, a refurbished Commonwealth destroyer. Dylan puts a plan into motion to destroy the flagship, while Andromeda's avatar develops a relationship with Gabriel.
- Dylan and Rev respond to a request for aid from Rev's former master. There Dylan prepares them for defending themselves against the bandits in the event that the Andromeda does not show up to scare them away. Rev's master is concerned about the effect that teaching them to kill will have on their children, as these humans have a genetic memory, passing down their memories to their children at birth.
- With the Magog worldshp fast approaching, time's running out for all; Dylan must defend Arkology as one of the Paradine, beings who allegedly witnessed the creation of the universe. Beka makes her decision to leave the battle while she still can. Harper and Rommie try to get Arkology slip-capable again before it's too late.
- For Dylan's birthday surprise, Harper overrides some of Andromeda's protocols to spring a surprise party. Becca gives him a unique gift; the map to Tarn-Vedra, the Commonwealth capital of legend where Dylan was born There's anxiety amongst the crew as they prepare their journey.
- While docked at Peirpont Drift, a cop recognizes Beka and Seamus and notes that they are wanted for various crimes, but for some reason does not arrest them. Meanwhile, Dylan tries to mediate a disagreement between the Than and an ally of the Free Trade Alliance.
- A chancellor visits the Andromeda, Tyr disrupts his visit by bringing up some past deeds the chancellor committed against Nietzscheans. Dylan orders Tyr to apologize, as Tyr visits the chancellor, the chancellor is killed and Try is found unconscious. Andromeda's crew must find the culprit.
- Harper has been captured by General Burma, a man who believes all technology to be evil. Dylan struggles with recovering Harper, evacuating all the remaining Seefran planets to Seefra One, a.k.a. Tarn-Vedra, and dealing with Trance. Dylan supposes that something may have happened to Trance while inside Methus-2, the artificial sun they fixed and the last place Trance seemed to be herself, and goes to investigate.
- The Andromeda gets caught in the middle of a battle between two Nietzschean prides, one of which is the Drago-Kazov. They manage to capture a hostile fighter from the unknown pride. He reveals that the Drago-Kazov believe that his pride has in its possession a legendary Nietzschean slip-scout, the Midnight's Voice, claimed to have mapped billions of transit points in the slipstream, as well as the slipstream itself. Dylan looks into the near-mythic tale of the Midnight's Voice while Tyr interrogates their Nietzschean captive.
- The Andromeda tries to help in a conflict between the Than and a Nietzschean pride. Tyr, the last of his pride is offered a chance to join with the pride and a bride. Will he side with his people or with the Andromeda?
- While returning to Andromeda with repair parts after the Magog attack, the Maru comes under attack and crashes on an ice-covered planet. On board Andromeda, only Trance, Rommie, and Harper remain, with Harper struggling to cope knowing there's Magog larvae living in his stomach
- Beka leads Trance and Dylan on a quest for the Engine of Creation.
- Dylan hijacks a tourist ship to escape from the Ogami, who've been contracted to kill him.
- Tyr has lost his memory. He is befriended by a small family. Some Nietzscheans arrive searching for Tyr and what he stole from them. Tyr must figure out what they're after, and regain his memory.
- When Andromeda runs experiments on a black hole, Dylan sends a message into the black hole saying goodbye to his loved ones. The message is received by the woman he left behind, 300 years earlier, a side affect of the experiment. When they find a way to transport him back to that time, he knows he cannot stay and prevent the fall of the Commonwealth. But can he bring his fiancée with him to his new time?
- Dylan and his crew deal with the survivors on Seefra One promising them that it will soon become like Tarn-Vedra once was. Harper works on getting the "low-tech" mechanism inside the planet to work properly, while Trance explores her new powers resulting from the re-establishment of her sun. She introduces Dylan to the group that her impersonator worked for, "the Nebula," a group of stars controlling all the galaxies, also an enemy of the Abyss.
- The Royal family flee their planet when a coup starts. Andromeda manages to rescue one member of the royal family, a young prince. Andromeda escorts him back to his home world, where they hope to get him back on the throne. The prince asks Tyr and Dylan to act as his advisers. Each of them teach the young prince how to lead, which method will the prince choose in the end?
- While on their way in the Maru to the launching of the first new Commonwealth starship in over three hundred years, Dylan, Beka, and Tyr rush ahead to warn the new battleship, the Crimson Sunrise, of an incoming Nietzschean battle group. They suspect that there is an agent on board the Sunrise, and their suspicions are confirmed when the engines go critical and the Sunrise is destroyed. Many on board the Sunrise survived in escape pods, but they discover the pods are leaking air. As they rescue the survivors, they also investigate the sabotage and realize that the saboteur may still be among them.
- The collectors tell Tyr why they need the map for the Route of Ages. It's a map to the Abyss, and hopefully a way to contain it. Tyr has Beka and the crew has the map. Now it's a race to the Route of Ages. Tyr makes a deal with the Abyss, and a final confrontation will ensue.
- While attempting to get the Arazians to rejoin the Commonwealth, he is arrested for sedition and sentenced to life imprisonment. In prison, he is forced to defeat a Magog prisoner in battle to win his share of the food. He wins the respect of the woman who appears to be in charge and finds Romy caged. Meanwhile, the crew of the Andromeda is anxious to find their captain.
- Andromeda receives a distress call from a Commonwealth prison, experiencing a riot the likes of which they've never dealt with before. Rommie discovers a now-missing prisoner was not recorded in the logs, meaning they was a mole, and Dylan and the others go in search of them.
- Harper's key note speaker at a conference on dealing with the Magog threat. When a scientist is kidnapped, and others are killed, the crew must figure out who's responsible. Meanwhile Dylan's kidnapped by the Collectors, who make him an offer.
- Andromeda is boarded by a drone from the Consensus of Parts, a mythical mechanical society. While friendly at first, the drone tries to force the ship to join the Consensus.
- When Dylan activates an experimental cloaking device, he gets swept into an alternate dimension, in which Harper's commander unknowingly working for the Abyss, and he's overthrown the Commonwealth,. Dylan looks for allies to oppose Harper,, and to find a way to get back to his own dimension
- Andromeda encounters a group who has secretly been supporting them. Their leader claims to have a connection to the old Commonwealth. When Dylan hears the claims, he starts to have doubts.
- As Trance's sun closes on Seefra-9, Rommie is rebuilt by Doyle to help evacuate the planet.
- The beings from another universe reappear. They take Rommie and use her for their own plans. The crew goes on a mission to rescue Rommie.
- Whilst Trance and Harper are on the Maru, they're surprised to find Gerentex aboard. He forces them to help with his latest scheme.
- Andromeda comes between two Nietzschean siblings. One has a weapon which can eliminate higher brain function, whereas the. other has her nephew hostage,
- The crew searches for people to organize the new Commonwealth. They search for Ortiz, who was able to organize a few systems then had to go into hiding. The crew must find/protect Ortiz.
- The Andromeda encounter 2 ships with depleted engines and weapons. They come from a planet, where the two sides have been fighting for as long as anyone can remember. One side is suffering from a disease, they claim the other side is using biological weapons, but the other side says they didn't do it. When Dylan becomes infected, the crew must figure out the source of the virus to save the captain.
- Upon nearing El Dorado Station, Beka receives a message from her 'uncle' Sid, who's in urgent trouble. She goes to meet him, with Trance in tow; . Beka finds Sid's message was sent 3 years prior, and now the situation's drastically different.
- Answering a distress call from a Wayist vessel, Beka is surprised to find her brother aboard. Most of the crew seem suspicious of the pair of newcomers, most of all Rafe Valentine, given his sleazy history. When he steals the Maru to visit a monastery, Beka's warnings seem to be true. However, when she finds him at a Wayist monastery, she believes that he really has turned a new leaf.
- An emissary from Tri-Jema arrives, claims her planet's itill on the crew's side, despite the current circumstances.
- Andromeda is attacked by a powerful unknown enemy, and the crew are put to their limit to get out of the situation alive. Yet the crew cannot even agree on one course of action, causing tension to rise and mutiny is only a short step away.
- When the blinking sun of the Seefra system goes dark for an extended period of time, Dylan takes the opportunity to study the workings of the artifice in the hopes of finding a way of fixing the broken sun. Harper discovers a maintenance protocol built into the sun by the Vedrans which'll allow a further extended period of time to study the sun.
- Beka receives news of a former crew-member's death and that she was named as his next-of-kin in his will. As they travel to claim his belongings, Harper and Beka tell Dylan more about their comrade.
- Dylan and the Andromeda are ordered by the reformed High Guard to transport and protect a candidate for election to Second Triumvir in the New Commonwealth. To the crew's surprise the candidate is none other than Beka's "Uncle" Sid, a sneaky and sleazy "businessman" who used to work with her father. Both Beka and Dylan are concerned that Sid may become part of the ruling body of the New Commonwealth, but when they find Sid unconscious and bleeding in his office they are forced to protect him from his assailants.
- A mission that Dylan performed for the old Commonwealth comes to haunt him. He and his partner deposed a tyrannical despot on Mobius. His replacement turned out much worse, a person Dylan that inadvertently put into power. The replacement is still alive. Now Dylan must eliminate his replacement, or is there another way?
- After exiting a rather turbulent part of slipstream, the Andromeda finds itself in the middle of the Prolon system, an area full of radiation and dangerous materials, including corrosive waste. The Andromeda saves a hibernation capsule from destruction, but sustains heavy damage at the hands of its pursuers, who demand that Dylan return the inhabitant, their princess, to their custody.
- Beka is called as a character witness for a friend on a planet where lying and deception are punishable crimes. Dylan is away at a strategic defense summit. Beka manages to get into a fight with the authorities and demands to see her "friend". She and Tyr break him out of prison and hide him on board the Andromeda. He was under arrest for crimes against the defense conglomerate Techno-Core, but the crew of the Andromeda, especially Beka, believe him to be innocent.
- Andromeda captures a smuggler with a shipment of bioarmour. They try to track down the origins of the armor., but there's more to the living armor than they realise.
- Dylan and the crew are put on trial by the Commonwealth. The Collectors now control the Commonwealth. The crew wants to escape, but Dylan wants to stick out the trial, to determine if he still has ANY allies in the Commonwealth he helped to rebuild.
- While Rhade's busy defending refugees on Seefra 5 from a local warlord, Dylan's surprised to find Hohne, the Perseid scientist who'd been thought killed whilst he helped Harper remove the Magog eggs. They attempt to recreate the device, which they feel can help to resupply the refugees, but while they rebuild the device, they receive a message from the research station near the black hole where they first tried too build the device.
- A man from Beka's past posing as a Wayist's killed by agents of the Abyss. The crew must find what he was hiding before the Abyss.
- Andromeda find an old High Guard station inhabited by the teen descendants of the original crew. Though they want to rebuild the Commonwealth, their understanding of history's been corrupted over time, and their beliefs are very deadly to all.
- Dylan's sent on a mission, but isn't informed of the danger he faces. Andromeda's captured by a gravity field which is the target of their mission. Dylan discovers the moon's the base of Kroton, a half-human, half-android genius which created the Magog world-ship.
- When a long lost love returns, Tyr disappears from the ship to protect her from an assassin.

- Andromeda's contacted by Rev.Bem, who knows of a weapon which can be used against the Abyss, but will only show Dylan. Dylan's captured, and stranded on a dead warship, heading towards a black hole. The crew searches for him, and finds an unexpected ally.
- Another "founding father" of the New Commonwealth contacts Dylan to help in taking down a very deadly assassin named "the Leper" who is currently targeting him. He has Dylan keep this mission top secret, even from his superiors. In order to get information on the Leper's whereabouts Dylan promotes himself as an agent of the Leper looking to hire talent for a hit. He manages to catch the Leper's sister, Sasha, in his trap and milks her for information.
- A bar fight spills out into the streets and a remark from Rhade aimed at Dylan drives Trance over the edge, causing her to leave the Andromeda. While she is in the underground tunnels, she befriends a sweeper, who believes she is a princess and wields a weapon that turns enemies to stone.
- A woman arrives in town seeking Dylan's aid. She tells him she was a Commonwealth scientist before it fel,l and that she's now trapped in a time loop. Dylan attempts to save her, and decipher the code which'll restore Seefra to its proper alignment.

- Beka, Harper, Rhade, and Doyle are searching for Vedran treasure, and they find a door behind which is a test that might lead to great wealth, Rhade and Beka are trapped within, as Harper and Doyle try to free them. Dylan goes in search of Trance, who's been trying to uncover more of her lost memories.
- The governing body of the Commonwealth has voted "no-confidence" in triumvir Tri-Jema, she sends Dylan to get the Andromeda refitted and visit an augur, who is told to be infallible. This augur, dubbed Citizen Eight, aims to take Tri-Jema's place as triumvir and, according to the triumvir, remove Dylan from command of the Andromeda. The robots sent to the Andromeda to start pre-upgrade repairs turn against the crew, forcing Dylan and Harper to shut them down. Dylan must deal with Citizen Eight before he can bring down the Commonwealth from within.
- A deadly enemy from the past returns with a plan to create an elite warrior race.
- Trance mourns the loss of her relative, Mesmer, but in the middle of the ceremony the Andromeda is hit by many massive shockwaves, sending the ship reeling. They discover that the shockwaves emanated from a star going supernova, and signs point towards the use of a weapon similar to a nova bomb. The crew comes to the conclusion that Marduk, a rogue planet, is the source of the weapon, but the Andromeda needs help to achieve its goals.
- Beka receives a message from Virgil Vox; a radio personality, concerning a secret from her past. She follows his instructions to an isolated location, where she impersonates a dead child, who'd be appx her age. Her "father" tells her a secret he's been guarding, and it's a now time for her to know.
- Dylan is gravely wounded in a lab accident, but wakes up in the bar with Harper telling bad jokes. He is confronted by a man who is wielding Dylan's force-lances and delivers a cryptic message. After a quick fight with Dylan, the man drops to the floor without apparent cause, but returns in the guise of Rhade to catch Dylan off guard, killing him swiftly. Dylan awakens on med-deck but finds that he has returned just after the accident and does not remember Trance.
- Dylan attempts to rescue Tyr and Beka by taking the Maru back towards the tunnel, but is forced to abandon it due to a large field of debris being sucked into the tunnel. When he returns, Beka and Tyr appear on Andromeda for no apparent reason. Now that her crew has been reunited, the Andromeda attempts to break free from the gravitational pull of the tunnel. During the attempt, Beka tries to slip too early, causing the Andromeda to be pulled into the tunnel. Dylan quickly takes control of the helm and pulls the ship out, but Tyr and Beka both seem to be acting strangely.
- Doyle's plagued by nightmares, and half-remembered dreams of life on-board the Andromeda. But she was never a member of the crew. One person notices her perceptions are off and realises Doyle doesn't know who she really is, and tries to get her to join with him and others of their own kind. Doyle will learn the truth of her origin, and why she feels at home on Andromeda.
- During a solar storm, Dylan's forced to leave Beka and Harper planetside. When he manages to pick them up, he also picks up a creature which devours the Maru's electronics, They must find a way to stop the creatures before they do permanent damage to Andromeda.
- Dylan deals with the residents of Seefra One who are unhappy with the number of refugees arriving on their planet. While Beka evacuates Seefra Five she detects a ship full of Nietzscheans headed towards the dying planet; however there have never been any Nietzscheans in the Seefra system with the exception of Rhade. Harper and Rhade find the refugees they were supposed to pick up from Seefra Five killed by their former general.
- Dylan finds Harper, he's not happy to see his former boss, having adjusted to life on Seefra. Soon he'll need Dylan to help him out of some trouble with one of his projecs.. Dylan also finds another member of his crew.
- The return of Flavin sparks a conflict between two rival gangs over who gets his ship and the bounties within. Rhade and Harper play the two sides to make money off their enmity. Meanwhile Flavin leads Dylan on a journey to help him develop as a Paradine.
- Harper discovers a program built into the Seefra system that can destroy eight of the planets, likely as a defense mechanism. Dylan begins plans to evacuate the eight planets, but is interrupted by a new arrival through the Route of Ages. The rest of Trance has returned to remake Tarn-Vedra, but the mechanism designed to that is not working.
- Harper discovers a weapon in the system which is powered by a crystal, that Harper believes will be able to restore power to Andromeda. Rhade and Dylan must go undercover working for Cutter to obtain the crystal he mines, as Andromeda and Doyle argue over who controls the ship.
- While Harper develops a way to save the Seefra system from its impending doom, a spy has slipped on board the Andromeda. Dylan, Rhade, and Trance all feel that someone who should not be aboard is, but cannot confirm their suspicions. Things turn south when the spy attacks Beka by opening a portal to open space inside the ship.
- Beka has ended up on Seefra, she joins a salvage unit. The leader has found Andromeda, and wants to use it for his own agenda. But Dylan still has a claim to it. Another crew member comes forth.
- While in command of the Andromeda during the night shift, Harper decides to initiate a little race with a friendly Nietzschean vessel to the nearest slip-point. When he tries a trick he calls "Harper's Afterburner" to beat his rival to the slip-point and into slipstream he causes a malfunction in the engine that could cause the destruction of the Andromeda. The Andromeda receives a communication from a system thousands of light-years away, but the signal appears to be only a few days old. Dylan hears voices telling him to pursue the signal to its source on a planet of "Fire and Ice" and he takes the Andromeda to the source, traveling through hostile Nietzschean-controlled space to do so.
- Andromeda investigates the site of a reported Nietzscheanattack on a Commonwealth battleship, but find no sign of any conflict having occurred.l. Dylan must deal with the Nietzscheans in order to uncover the truth of what happened in orbit.
- Beka's recent behaviour's explained; she's been infected by the Abyss, and the crew must find a way to free her of it.
- Dylan receives a package, and takes Harper with him on a secret mission. Soon Dylan's a wanted man, and several ships go to the Andromeda to bring Dylan back.
- Rhade, Harper, and Beka each have some dealings with a stranger, who's soon murdered. They're put on trial for his death, with the guilty party to receive a death sentence.
- While investigating a black hole, the Maru suffers a hull breach with Dylan on board. He wakes up to find himself in bed with his wife, his son charging into the room excited about his ballgame. Meanwhile, the crew of the Andromeda attempt to recover Dylan and the Maru. Dylan has flashbacks to his time on the Andromeda, while his wife pressures him to retire from the High Guard.
- The crew gets a message from Rev Bem. He's on a planet that's about to be destroyed. The Andromeda goes after the wayward Magog.
- Andromeda receives a distress call from a freighter, and manages to get it into the docking bay, but it is venting oxygen and the bay doors are jammed open. Dylan and Tyr manage to save most of its crew from suffocation, but they all exhibit signs of brain damage. Their leader informs Dylan that they have escaped from a hellish slave world that no one has ever escaped from before.
- Dylan exits the route of ages and ends up on Seefra. The beings on Seefra have limited technology and no escape from the system. Dylan finds Rhade, who's not thrilled to see his former Captain.
