- Joe tries to hide his new straight friend Russ from Louis.
- Joe starts to feel insecure after looking through Ali's "personal stuff" while moving her into his apartment; finding a picture of her and Derek Jeter at a Vegas hotel together. Joe and Louis try to slyly coax more information out of Ali through a surprise game of Celebrity, which makes Wyatt nervous. Louis's competitive nature, especially surrounding Celebrity, causes problems for both couples.
- Ali gets a pregnancy scare, Louis decides to have a baby as well, Joe and Louis' relationship is tested.
- Louis and Joe are looking for new jobs for the firm. Wyatt helps Ali out at the shop.
- Ali tired of Louis just popping at the apartment decides to change the locks. Louis tells Joe that he should stand up for him but Joe sides with Ali.

- Joe and Louis are nominated for an "Archie" award, however, the begin to doubt the originality of their submitted design.
- Joe and Louis are hired to plan a house for a big shot British client, nonetheless, friction develops between the two partners as Louis takes full credit for one of the design's concept.
- Although they could not be more different, Louis and Joe are lifelong friends and partners in an architecture firm. Their "bromance" is tested when Joe gets engaged to Ali and Louis is in a new relationship with Wyatt.
