- Hap and Matt, the two contestants who fell below the red line at the last weigh-in, learn that one of them may not be going home this week. They and all the other eliminated contestants to date participate in another weigh-in, the one with the largest percentage of weight loss since day one of being on the ranch who will return to ranch as a contestant. The returning contestant and the others remaining on the ranch also learn that this week's weigh-in will be the first of the season with a yellow line, the two that fall under it who will be up for elimination, the person eliminated based on a vote of the others. A retrospective of each of the remaining contestants is shown, most specifically how their weight loss to date will affect their life whenever they go home. The week's reward challenge consists of an uphill race where the winning contestant will be the first to carry ten kettle bells up the hill, with one of the many buried kettle bells - the gold one - worth five. The winner receives a $25,000 home gym system, with the last place contestant receiving a one pound disadvantage at the next weigh-in. Season 8 contestant Abby Rike returns to the ranch to provide words of motivation. And Dolvett takes the contestants to Irwindale Speedway to work out with NASCAR driver Carl Edwards. Following the weigh-in, Alison tells the remaining contestants what is in store for them next week.
