Slowly with the help of his only friend Dinesh he starts recovering his situation and finds a job. He then meets Stefi, a girl who brings him back to life. Little does he know Stefi fights her own demons and their love comes at a price.

- Arthur is much taken by would-be singer Sharon Dobbs, who is a pretty girl but no great vocalist. He gets her a gig at a club run by dodgy Chris Lambert, who welshes on their agreement, and when Terry refuses to teach Lambert a lesson, Arthur turns to Vic Piner instead. As Piner is a well-known psycho it is down to Terry to get involved after all, to prevent a murder.

Debbie is a witness to the robbery but the police suspect that she and Terry may be the perpetrators. Meanwhile Arthur prepares for jury service to the horror of his arch-enemy DS Chisholm.

They detain a right-wing opponent of the Alliance but the real danger comes from Annie's managers, who seek to capitalize on her 'martyrdom'. Annie is saved but things will never be the same between her and her 'Georgie'.
