Part of the SON OF SHOCK package of 20 titles released to television in 1958, which followed the original SHOCK THEATER release of 52 features one year earlier. This was also the first of 11 Columbia titles, the other 61 all being Universals.
The version presently in circulation bears a 1936 re-release production code seal of approval #2316-R, modernized title credits, and the newer post-1935 Columbia logo.
The Bureau of Investigation was established in 1906, the BOI or BI for short. Its name changed to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 1935.
