Violence & Gore

  • There's a scene where the brontosaurus kills the sailors by eating them.
  • While Denham and his crew are chasing after Kong, they encounter a dinosaur, which they "finish off" by shooting it in the face. Blood is seen coming out of the eye, which is somewhat disturbing, but it is easy to miss and it doesn't last for long.
  • Kong kills many natives by hitting, crushing and biting them, but again nothing graphic.
  • Kong is shot and falls of the Empire State Building and dies.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In the climatic "Eighth Wonder of the World" scene, Kong Is frightened by pohtocamera flashes provocated by journalists, which may also disturb some audiences a bit. Kong is so frightened that he forces open his bonds and rampages free, causing his audience to escape, screening.
  • When Kong is scared by the photographers snapping photos of him may affect people who have problems with flashing lights
  • The various dinosaurs that exist on Skull Island are all menacing and aggressive, even the herbivores. They attack, chase, maul and eat many screaming sailors, and repeatedly menace Anne Darrow, resulting in violent, animalistic confrontations with Kong.
  • As mentioned above, Kong's battles with the dinosaurs are a little intense at times and blood is seen pouring out of the dinosaur's mouth. The scenes when the sailors are getting killed on Skull Island can be very disturbing due to the dramatic music and the unusual screams. There are also a few instances when Kong kills people by biting them or stomping them into the ground but no blood is shown.
