It looks like Kanye West may slowly be making a musical comeback.
On Saturday, the rapper made a surprise appearance at fellow rapper Kid Cudi's concert in Chicago, where he performed their collaboration, "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" from his most recent album, The Life of Pablo.
Friend and protege Chance the Rapper was one of the first to break the news on Twitter, writing, "Kid Cudi Just brought out Kanye in Chicago."
The crowd goes totally wild as the rapper emerges on stage, and West appears upbeat performing alongside Cudi. Check out some of the performance below.
It's an interesting choice to make a stage comeback, after West blasted Cudi on stage during his tour in 2016, telling him to "Respect the God." Shortly after that, he did a complete 180, and called Cudi, "the most influential artist of the last 10 years," adding, "I just wanted to take this time out to say Kid Cudi is my brother...

Kanye West filed a $10 million lawsuit on Tuesday against multiple syndicates of insurance marketplace Lloyd's of London, alleging that they have not paid out on a claim filed by West's company, Very Good Touring, Inc., after the rapper scrapped several planned performance dates on his Saint Pablo Tour.
According to court documents obtained by Et, West's company obtained "non-appearance or cancellation" insurance before the tour began. When West was hospitalized in November 2016, the remaining dates on his tour were cancelled, and his company submitted a claim.
According to the lawsuit, Very Good Touring, Inc., alleges that the cancellations were due to a "debilitating medical condition."

Carrie Fisher's sudden death marked one of the saddest moments in 2016, but things have taken an unexpected twist as The Insurance Insider reveals that Disney will be cashing in a $50 million insurance policy on the actress. They took that out at Lloyd's of London in the event that the actress was for some reason unable to fulfil her contractual obligations to the new Star Wars Saga. The studio presumably did the same for all of the franchise's older cast members upon their respective returns. While Fisher completed work on Star Wars Episode VIII, the site reports that she was, "slated to have a major role in Episode IX." That explains why the studio will be looking to cash this policy in, but what they're going to do with the huge sum of money is something we'll probably never be privy to. However, while Disney will continue selling Princess Leia merchandise,...

As reported last month by BroadwayWorld, the lawsuit rages on between the producers of Shuffle Along and their insurance company Lloyd's of London, with regard to coverage for Audra McDonald's recent pregnancy. Now, according to Forbes, Lloyd's has issued a new claim alleging that McDonald knew she was pregnant before the coverage in the policy began. Following this claim, the insurance company is urging the courts to dismiss the entire policy, as opposed to forcing the company to pay the producers the complete capitalization for the production, which they are requesting due to their argument that McDonald's pregnancy was an accident thatforced the production to close early.

Simone Simon in 'La Bête Humaine' 1938: Jean Renoir's film noir (photo: Jean Gabin and Simone Simon in 'La Bête Humaine') (See previous post: "'Cat People' 1942 Actress Simone Simon Remembered.") In the late 1930s, with her Hollywood career stalled while facing competition at 20th Century-Fox from another French import, Annabella (later Tyrone Power's wife), Simone Simon returned to France. Once there, she reestablished herself as an actress to be reckoned with in Jean Renoir's La Bête Humaine. An updated version of Émile Zola's 1890 novel, La Bête Humaine is enveloped in a dark, brooding atmosphere not uncommon in pre-World War II French films. Known for their "poetic realism," examples from that era include Renoir's own The Lower Depths (1936), Julien Duvivier's La Belle Équipe (1936) and Pépé le Moko (1937), and particularly Marcel Carné's Port of Shadows (1938) and Daybreak (1939).[11] This thematic and...

Spike TV is offering $10 million for proof that Bigfoot exists.
The network is announcing a new one-hour reality show, 10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty, featuring teams on a quest to find the legendary Sasquatch. The teams will include scientists, zoologists, seasoned trackers, and “actual Bigfoot hunters,” according to the network. The series will be shot in various locations around the country.
The prize, underwritten by Lloyds of London, is billed as the largest cash prize in TV history — if it’s actually awarded. The rules require the hunters to produce “irrefutable evidence” of the creature. Somehow we think that Spike is making a pretty safe bet.

London, September 13: Michael Jackson's former concert promoter Aeg Live is withdrawing a 17.5-million-dollar insurance claim over the late singer's cancelled comeback gigs, it has been revealed.
Aeg had filed the claim against the insurer Lloyd's of London for its concert-related losses in 2009.
However, the insurance company sought to nullify the policy, saying Aeg made false claims about the 'King of Pop's' health.
According to a lawyer for Aeg, the company dropped the claim because it had been reimbursed by the singer's estate.
The move comes a week after the publication of leaked internal emails from the concert promoters which saw them voice concerns over the 50-year-old's stability and health.

Michael Jackson's concert promoters have withdrawn a $17.5 million dollar insurance claim. Los Angeles — Promoters of Michael Jackson's planned 2009 comeback described in emails how they feared for the megastar's stability, saying he was out of shape and consumed with self-doubt.
The Los Angeles Times ( ) obtained some 250 pages of messages, most between executives at Anschutz Entertainment Group, which was financing the ill-fated "This Is It" concerts set for London. Some of the emails indicated that executives were concerned that Jackson's planned 50-show stand at Aeg's 02 Arena would be an expensive bust. http://lat.ms/PPxAAw
In one exchange Aeg's Randy Phillips wrote his boss that Jackson was "an emotionally paralyzed mess." Phillips was writing from Jackson's London hotel suite just hours before a press conference announcing the concert run.
"Mj is locked in his room drunk and despondent," Phillips said in an email to Aeg President Tim Leiweke. "I (am) trying to sober him up."

Titanic star Bill Paxton took a huge risk when he embarked on a deep sea dive to the famed wreck because he was unable to secure life insurance coverage for the trip.
Director James Cameron invited the actor along for an underwater mission to the ship's final resting place after filming for the 1999 blockbuster movie wrapped several years ago.
Paxton reveals he originally tried to get financial assurance for his wife Louise Newbury and their two children so they would be well taken care of in the event that the adventure went horribly wrong - but he was denied coverage and was forced to make a big personal decision.
During an appearance on U.S. morning show Live With Kelly! on Friday, he said, "About five years after the movie, he (Cameron) said, 'I'm going back to Titanic and I want you to come along for the ride.' So I called up... Lloyd's of London (insurance agency) because I have young children at home and I said, 'Can you cover me on this?' and they said, 'Absolutely not.'"
The Twister star decided to make the trip anyway - and the 57 year old is glad he did.
He added, "I couldn't believe I was actually down there... When you approach it, (the ship) doesn't look very big... and (then) they shine the light down and you see where the ship actually, literally, was wrenched in half. I mean, that was a violent death... I mean the forces that led to that thing tearing apart, that really is probably the most intense and frightening thing I saw down there."
The Titanic famously sank on its maiden voyage across the Atlantic Ocean after hitting an iceberg on 15 April, 1912.

The former Playboy model has decided to protect her most valuable assets in case she should ever suffer a freak injury or accident and was no longer able to appear in erotic Las Vegas production 'Peepshow’.
Holly – who bares her 36D surgically enhanced boobs in the show - told People magazine: “I've heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, 'Why not?’ Because if anything happened to my boobs, I'd be out for a few months and I'd probably be out a million dollars. Although the 31-year-old blonde beauty recognises the slight absurdity of the policy – which she has taken out with insurance company Lloyd's of London - she insists it’s a shrewd business decision because her breasts are her “money makers”.

We like to think the insurance adjuster on this job acted in a professional manner.
"Girl Next Door" and Playboy icon Holly Madison has taken out a $1 million dollar insurance policy on her famous breasts. According to reports, Madison sought the insurance skills of Lloyd's of London; Lloyd's has no lack of experience in this area as it is rumored that Lloyd's insures Jennifer Lopez's backside.
Madison sought to "cover [her] assets. I think it's kind of funny. I think they're getting the credit they deserve." Madison currently appears in "Peepshow," a Las Vegas production that heavily involves her (now officially) most valuable feature.
So rest easy, Holly. Should a lightning bolt strike your chest or a sudden and drastic change in air pressure cause a rupture, you will be able to cash in big.
