On the posters during the protests it is said "Neder met Engeland", meaning "Down with England". However the original line in Afrikaans should have been "Saam met Engeland" or "Neer met Engeland".
Paul Ohm Krüger's wife at that time was called Gezina, not Sanna.
Despite the fact that the movie is called "Ohm Krüger", the actual person, who was also known as "Ohm Paul", was called "Kruger" (without the umlauts, which don't exist in Afrikaans).
The second Boer war started in 1899 while the discovery of Gold in the Witwatersrand region near Johannisburg was in 1886. Furthermore England already fought in a war against the Boers from 1880-1881. Cecil Rhodes should have known this.
When Krurger arrived in London the march band is playing "Burenland ist freies Land", a song written especially for this movie instead of the actual national anthem of Transvaal "Transvaalse Volkslied".
The "Welcome"-sign for the return of Jan Kruger is written in German instead of dutch or Afrikaans.
Queen Victoria's last words were "Oh that peace will come, Bertie" saying them to her son Edward VII, joined also by her grandson Wilhelm. However, in the movie she is saying "The day the folks stop hating each other England is lost" only to her son Edward (09th November 1841 - 06th May 1910).
During most of the movie Queen Victoria is addressed simply as "Her majesty". However during that time the queen should have been addressed as "her majesty the queen".
