- The girl cat---which is actually a puppet used by the dog to trick the cat---does what some would consider seducing the cat. A joke in the cartoon is during a scene where the titular hep cat hugs the puppet. He then lowers his hand to where "her" bottom would be. He then feels it, taps it, and then says to the audience "Aaaah! Something new has been added!"
