When the film was released in 1943 nobody wanted to take credit for directing it.
But in 1957 Poul Bang told a newspaper that Axel Frische was the original director, but he quit after eight days of shooting. He was then replaced by Lau Lauritzen, who also quit because he didn't like the film. Then Poul Bang accepted the job and directed the majority of the film, on the condition that he remained uncredited.
Was produced without a production company.
Although Saga Studio is often mentioned as the production company, John Olsen produced the film almost two years before he founded Saga Studio.
