I expected worse

Warning: Spoilers
I was afraid before viewing this little flick produced by the sinister Sam Katzman, one of the worst producer Hollywood had ever known.

But I was finally pleased with it. A short movie, well paced, with rather acceptable performance of the actors. Jon Hall is OK, so Georges Reeves - out of his Superman outfit.

The story of a crew aboard a ship combating rebellion. Good action, but drowned in the middle of bad acting and too much talking.

I was the first surprised not to be bored with this feature. Try it.

And Jean Yarbrough's films deserve to be seen. If you love B movies, of course.

Assembly line programmer, no better or worse than the thousand others exactly like that.

Warning: Spoilers
Moderately fast paced and filled with sinister characters, this is just one of thousands of adventures at sea dealing with the sinister side of sailing away. Gun running, counterfeit cash and other illegal activities is the basic plot, dealing with the murder of a ship captain and the investigation of agent Jon Hall which leads him to sexpot Adele Jergens who works for "Mister Big" (future "Superman", George Reeves) and is ordered to ogle Hall to distract him and get information. This is the type of programmer where little thought was put into making it, so little thought should be put into watching it and analyzing it. All you can basically really say about films like this is " Thankful that this was only an hour of my life!"
