Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Two men become heavily drunk on spirits and end up recklessly trying to steal a locomotive. Their intoxicated state causes them to be highly blasé about their actions, even showing no concern over their predicament after being arrested on a long list of charges.
  • Mr Valentine is persuaded to finance the railway after being informed about trains being exempt from licensing laws, which will allow him to run a bar on board the train selling alcohol without needing a licence.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The night before the railway is due to be inspected in order to decide whether or not to make the Light Railway Order permanent, an act of sabotage causes its only train to crash. No one is injured, but the townspeople are emotional as it means they won't be able to run a train for the inspector and will lose their LRO.
