Very early in the film, just after Dorothy Lyons has been released from prison, Ben Grace is in police Lt. Dietz's office discussing her. The lieutenant is perusing Miss Lyons' criminal file which the viewer can briefly view. At the top of the document a spelling error displays her name as "Dorthy Lyons".
In the external scenes where John Payne is driving Arlene Dahl, there is no windshield in the car. They used to remove the windshields to avoid camera glare, but would have another model complete. When they drive to the beach house, the car does have a windshield.
A man in a bar says that, when the new mayor is elected, "this town will be so quiet you can eat your dinner off the sidewalk." Obviously, he should have said that the town would be clean, not quiet.
