Produced and copyright dated in Italy in 1960, later submitted to the British Board of Film Censors by Compton-Cameo and passed with an "A" certificate on 4 October 1962. In spite of its low budget the film enjoyed a surprising five week run in London's West End. Opened at the Cameo-Royal, Charing Cross Road on 27 November 1962 and shared the bill with Norwegian melodrama The Wayward Girl (1959). However, not getting a general release on the major circuits, Blood of the Warriors went the rounds on a first come first served basis. After disappearing for 25 years, a poor print was released on UK video in 1989 under the title Slave Warrior.
Italian censorship visa # 33715 delivered on 2 February 1961.
