The geneticist character David Neville says that parthenogenesis (development of an egg without fertilization by sperm) is only in algae and plants, which would just be a character error if that is all that was known at the time, but even in the time period of the movie, parthenogenesis had already been documented in animals.
(at about 58 mins) Rashid is shown to be pulling out stops (the knobs on the side of the console), then pushing them back in, while the church organ is sounding. Pulling a stop allows one rank of pipes (usually 61, with tonality indicated on the stop) to become active, allowing the notes to 'speak.' Pushing a stop back in shuts off the airflow to that rank, effectively turning it off. Thus, as stops are pushed in, the organ volume should decrease, not increase as implied in the scene.
