Early mondo

WORLD BY NIGHT is one of the earliest Italian 'mondo' movies, made in 1960, and possibly the earliest unless there are others I don't recall or know about. Inevitably it's quite a tame one these days, essentially a collection of cabaret acts and performances stitched together from around the world. George Sanders narrates the English version. Being 1960, this may have once been considered racy, but of course there's no nudity or violence so this would probably be rated PG these days. A good example of world culture of the era if you can get over the poor quality of the clips; the highlight being Mac Ronay's ultra-creepy Frankenstein skit which still haunts me to this day.
