Sex & Nudity

  • Very brief nudity at one moment when a towel falls off of a man, and we get a brief glimpse of his bare buttocks. Other than this, there is no nudity in this film.
  • Much of the film is set in taverns and brothels. However, no sex or nudity is ever actually seen, and all immoral behavior in the film is not condoned in any way.

Violence & Gore

  • There is one major battle scene. It is intense and there is some brief glimpses of men being stabbed or shot with arrows, but none of this is graphic or excessive. PG-level violence at the worst.

Profanity

  • None whatsoever. Every line is taken verbatim from Shakespeare's plays.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Falstaff, Hal, and the other revelers frequently partake in excessive alcohol consumption in taverns and brothels, but this is never condoned.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Suggested MPAA rating: PG for mild battle violence and brief nudity
