When Charlie Brown is talking with Linus about how the league won't accept their team with Snoopy and the girls, there's a sudden close-up of Linus speaking where his blanket disappears and a baseball cap appears on his head. In the next shot, his blanket has reappeared and he's no longer wearing a cap.
After Charlie Brown and the girls gets tangled in the jump rope, Patty, Violet and Freida's skateboards suddenly appear in the next shot.
In the first scene, Charlie Brown runs off the baseball field and into a nearby residential area in an effort to catch a long fly ball. Along the way he passes Violet, Frieda and Patty on the sidewalk jumping rope, who therefore are presumably not part of the baseball game. But after Charlie Brown misses the catch, Violet, Frieda and Patty are among the capped teammates who walk up to berate him for his error.
Schroeder's purple stripes on his shirt briefly turn red when he and the team scream "AAUGH! WE LOST THE GAME BECAUSE OF CHARLIE BROWN!"
Frieda was shown walking away to join Lucy, Violet and Patty in making a baseball uniform for Charlie Brown using Linus' blanket but during when making the uniform and giving it to Charlie Brown, she doesn't appear.
While the special came out in 1966, the credits read that it is from 1968.
Early in the show, Charlie Brown says "we have 5 boys, 3 girls, and 1 dog on the team" - but all 4 of the girls are shown playing along with Snoopy and the 5 boys.
Despite Linus already knowing about why Charlie Brown had to give up the uniforms long before the next game, he is shown wailing along with the rest of the team when CB breaks the news to them.
