Sex & Nudity

  • In the sketch "The Dull Life of a City Stockbroker," a man walks into a corner shop to purchase something. The clerk behind the counter is a topless blonde woman. Her breasts are in full view. In the same sketch there are nude men only covered by very small briefs.
  • In general, many episodes show female nudity. Though there is only one instance of nudity of a person in a skit, there is often many photos of nude woman presented in the animated sketches. These photos show up at random and without any warning. No genitalia is visable and most photos are in black and white.
  • Many of the animated sketches feature still photographs of nude women and/or men (however, any genital detail has either been edited out of the image or is obscured). A few episodes feature breast and/or rear nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • in the puppy years skit, the characters are pierced through with various things, a lot of blood flows from them, the piano cuts off the hands for the characters, blood is spilling from the hands, the piano falls to the characters, covered in blood. The violence in this sketch is for amusement.
  • In one of the animations, a man puts shaving cream all over his head and decapitates himself.
  • In S1E13, Ivan the Terrible slices another man in half with a sword. This is very brief (lasts less than 5 seconds) and played for laughs.
  • Some episodes contain unrealistic, cartoon-like violence and/or over-the-top bloody violence. Any instances of bloody violence are extremely overplayed due to the technical constraints of the era in which the series was produced; and the violence is intended to amuse, as opposed to horrify; however, younger viewers may be disturbed by some of the stronger instances of violence.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some characters can be spotted smoking and/or consuming alcoholic beverages throughout the course of the series.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some scenes are unusual and eerie, but they are played out for comedic sense.
