- TriviaThis had trouble with the Australian censors when it was shown at the Perth International Film Festival in 1975. Normally, censorship does not affect film festivals, but pressure from conservatives forced the board of censors to ban the film. It was allowed to be shown after an appeal to the ban, but it was banned again in 1976.

Depraved entertainment. Don't' call it "art".
HUGE SPOILERS
Obscure! sick! depraved! I dug it. I didn't enjoy most of the movie's scenes. Believe me, watching a man penetrating a pig isn't something nice to watch. Also, it's not a pleasure to watch a man eating his own excrement. What I liked about the movie is the obscure character development of "the man". I wonder what kind of mental disease or sickness this man had. He found sexual pleasure with animals but also generated love feelings towards animals. He even decides to have his own family with the pig and later kills them all... Poor little pigs. So the director tried to have a love story but only shows how humans can also be demented.
The movie surely is disturbing because of it's grotesque scenes and sounds but it isn't something that will sincerely shock you. If you don't watch it objectively, you might consider it as a piece of crap. I could only recommend this movie for people who are into psychology and weird fixations.
This is classified as an art movie but in my opinion is just a poor excuse of shocking film making. This movie seems to have vanished from earth.
