Warning: This post contains spoilers about Season 4, Episode 4 of Netflix’s “The Crown.”
“The Crown” is set in the 1980s in its fourth season, but a conversation between Queen Elizabeth and Prince Andrew in Episode 4 will sound eerily familiar to anyone who has read about the Prince’s resignation from his royal duties in the wake of his alleged involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal last year.
The Duke of York came under public scrutiny in 2019 when details of his friendship with deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein — a convicted sex offender who was arrested that year for sex-trafficking involving underage girls — raised questions about the Prince’s possible participation in Epstein’s illicit affairs. One of Epstein’s most outspoken victims, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, has said that he forced her to have sex with several of his friends, including Prince Andrew, who has repeatedly denied the accusations.

And the list goes on! For this decade's list, we're focusing on unforgettable friendships. No, we didn't get them all, but these friends sure stand out among the rest!
Please remember that with have almost two dozen favorites lists that we couldn't showcase every show on every list, so we parsed them out a bit to make it more fun.
And these lists are not in any particular order. They're in the order the entries were received by TV Fanatic staff, so don't read into them!
To qualify, a show that began in another decade had to be airing during the decade, run a larger number of seasons from 2010 through 2019 if it started before 2010 or run the entire decade. Here we go!

Taylor Russell is the first person you see in Trey Edward Shults’ devastating family drama, “Waves,” as her character, Emily, glides across the hot pavement of a quiet stretch of suburban Florida road on her trusty bike. You’ll be forgiven if you forget that part soon enough, as Shults pushes outward to introduce Emily’s vibrant big brother Tyler (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) and his pals as they careen along a sun-drenched highway, music blaring and camera spinning. As the pulse-pounding first half of the film unfolds, it’s Tyler that consumes most of it, cast as a high school wrestler undone by familial pressures, a lingering injury, and a future very much in flux.
And yet Emily is always there, too, drifting in and out of scenes at home and high school. Eventually, Tyler’s dramas overtake the rest of the family, including father Ronald (Sterling K. Brown) and...

Fringe is finally making room for its self-proclaimed biggest fangirl, Rebecca Mader.
The Lost alumna, who wears her obsession with the Fox thriller on her sleeve (and her chest; see the photo at right), will guest-star in the final two episodes of the season, TV Guide Magazine reports. She’ll play a strong woman somehow involved in a case that is linked to Big Bad David Robert Jones.
For those not aware of Mader’s undying devotion to Fringe, the actress recently gushed to TVLine’s Matt Webb Mitovich, “I just want to be on it… This show just blows my socks off.

Spoilers: Who is Haley's New Boyfriend on Modern Family? Plus: Fringe, The Vampire Diaries & Revenge
Modern Family | Who is Haley's new boyfriend? Now that Haley's secret about not being a virgin is out, it's definitely time for a new guy to come around and make Phil a little nervous, don't you agree? Well, in a case of art imitating life, Zap2it reveals that Sarah Hyland's real-life boyfriend, Matt Prokop, has been cast as Haley's newest love interest. Interesting tidbit: This will be the third time that Prokop and Hyland have played boyfriend and girlfriend onscreen since first meeting at a casting call for High School Musical 3. Aaw!
Is Cam's father just as touchingly inappropriate as his mom? Not even. TVGuide has learned that One Tree Hill's Barry Corbin is set to play Merle Tucker, Cam's Midwestern, off-putting, and very masculine father in an episode to air during May sweeps.
