Sex & Nudity

  • Several scenes of sexual situations mostly played for laughs, but there's no nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • The vast majority of the following is meant to play as comic:
  • A man falls out of a tree but is unharmed.
  • Some pushing and shoving in a few scenes.
  • Richard Pryor gets roughed up by several women when he gets fresh with them or when he is a creep to them.
  • Richard Pryor grabs his wife by the throat and shoulders and shakes her up while yelling at her. He even takes a swing at her but misses and hurts his hand as a result.
  • Richard Pryor's wife throws a kitchen knife at him and attempts to chop him with a cleaver. She then hits him several times, chokes him with his tie, and attempts to stab his with a large fork before she his pulled off.
  • Two attempted murders by shotgun.
  • A man is run over by a small bus and killed(no blood or gore).
  • A woman whips a man while dressed as a dominatrix.

Profanity

  • Over 16 uses of "fuck", and several uses of "shit", "bitch", "damn", and a couple uses of the slur "faggot".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Social drinking.
  • Some scenes of cigarette and cigar smoking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some mildly comical menace.
