In 1950, the private security company Brink's has a reputation for unbreachable security. Particularly in the impregnable fortress of their headquarters in the North End of Boston. Small-time crook Tony Pino realizes by chance that this reputation is not based on fact, and that the company's security measures are incredibly lax. He and his gang easily rob one of the company's armored tracks. Tony then uses a disguise to infiltrate the company's headquarters, where he finds out that the personnel rarely lock the building's doors and that the alarm system is cheap and antiquated. Tony starts orchestrating the Great Brink's Robbery, the largest robbery in the history of the United States.
