- a native man and woman get married and it is later implied the woman is pregnant. there is later a birth scene where she is sweaty and struggling, after this 2 small wet babies are shown, but nothing graphic is shown.
- a woman enters a lake naked, but nothing can be seen.

- a native woman is kidnapped in the beginning of the film and she later falls off a horse and smacks her skull against a rock. some blood is seen running down her face.
- there are a few fight scenes where natives fight with knives, clubs and tomahawks, nothing is too graphic.
- a flashback scene shows a child being attacked by a bear, the bear is shown knocking the child over and the child is shown with a bloody shoulder and neck.
- in one scene it is implied a man tried to rape a woman and she struggles and she eventually stabs and kills him, but the stab itself is not seen.
- in one scene a man falls through ice and drowns.
- a man fights off wolves with a spear and then later falls into a bear cave. it is later implied that he killed the bear.
