Tom Huckabee lives in Texas but is no stranger to Hollywood. Back in 1983 he wrote, directed, and produced Taking Tiger Mountain, starring Bill Paxton. It’s been roughly 27 years since that film had its debut, and now he’s back with the comedy, Carried Away. In the movie, aspiring actor Ed Franklin (Gabriel Horn) comes home for Christmas to visit his family who all are, let’s say, crazy. None of them get along and when he finds out his granny (the very funny Juli Erickson) has been put in a nursing home, he breaks her out and together they embark on a hilarious road trip.
