Arrowhead Game Studios has always been dedicated to making Helldivers 2 better and providing an exciting gaming experience to players. This has been seen in the game updates and the way the developer has taken cognizance of its player base’s requests to fix things and make new additions.
The studio’s CEO, Johan Pilestedt, who also serves as the game director, has been at the forefront of it all and has always been accessible to the fans. Pilestedt has now announced a huge change that could change everything about the game, and it may be the best or the worst thing.

Noah Hazard loves his girlfriend Lea and their daughter Zita (Mila Rooms). But more than that, he loves his car, a gold Lexus bearing the vanity plate H4Z4RD, which was also the film’s original title. Indeed, Hazard opens with him spending so much time taking care of it that he’s almost late picking them up, something that gives Lea’s mother (Sylvie Nawasadio; Two Much for the Job) another reason to complain about him.
After dropping Zita off at school and Lea at work, he promises to pick the girl up at 3:30. He wants to go have the chip in his windshield fixed, but he has other obligations. He’s agreed to do a job for his not-so-bright cousin Carlos but...

A great many people appear to have come out of “Civil War,” Alex Garland’s a-house-divided-against-itself-can-kick-highly-equipped-military-ass dystopian combat thriller, feeling all shook up. They’re disturbed by it, unsettled by it. They experience the movie as if it were holding a violent mirror up to the simmering rage of America’s current political/spiritual/ ideological divide. Many critics have been seriously spooked by it, and so have columnists like the New York Times’ Michelle Goldberg. The filmmaker and Facebook pundit Paul Schrader said he was scared by it. And to judge from how many tickets the film is selling, in a $25 million opening weekend that bodes well for the future of adult dramas with topical resonance (on that score let’s all be grateful), I would guess that a solid portion of the audience was scared too.
But I was not scared by “Civil War,” even a little bit. Actually,...

Helldivers 2 is still going strong, around two months after its launch. Its player count is as strong as it could be, and its developers continue to make sure this game remains as fun to play as it was during its launch. They have been introducing new stuff to Helldivers 2 with every passing day.
As fun as this game is, it’s equally challenging, and fans often find themselves struggling to complete some missions. Sometimes they would see too much resistance, and other times enemy reinforcements would be too strong to defeat. And sometimes they would see the kind of challenge that they had never seen before; that’s what Helldivers 2 players are facing right now.
Helldivers 2’s new objectives are giving players a hard time

Def Leppard have announced a 40th anniversary expanded reissue of their seminal 1983 album Pyromania, arriving April 26th.
The legendary UK band is pulling all the stops for the reissue campaign, digging into the archives for previously unreleased demos, outtakes, rough mixes, and live recordings.
The 4-cd/Blu-Ray and 2-lp editions will include the original remastered album as well as these archival recordings, including a rare rough mix of “Photograph” with an unfinished vocal track and a previously “long lost” demo of “No You Can’t Do That” — an outtake and the “11th track” from the Pyromania sessions.
“Rediscovering dusty old cassettes which were brilliantly restored by [executive producer] Ronan [McHugh] and finding the long lost unfinished ’11th track’ was a journey only few of us are lucky enough to take,” remarked singer Joe Elliot in a press release. “What a trip!”
The 4-cd box set also features two era-specific concert recordings: December 18th,...

Recently, I wrote an article about movies that were surprisingly hard to find on streaming or Blu-ray, and one of the movies I mentioned was a little-remembered 1988 thriller called Shoot to Kill (aka Deadly Pursuit in the UK). The film was a decent box office hit in its day, but outside of a DVD release many years ago, it has sunk into obscurity.
This is a shame, as Shoot to Kill is a nifty little movie. After a few comments praised the film, I decided to revisit it for myself, as I honestly hadn’t seen it since the nineties and had no idea if it would hold up. To my surprise, not only did it hold up, but Shoot to Kill is a bit of a lost 80s action classic.

The legendary test pilot Chuck Yeager took Philip Kaufman, the writer/director of the lauded 1983 space race epic “The Right Stuff,” for a ride in his plane during production. And at one point the man who broke the sound barrier in 1947 turned over the controls to Kaufman as he also turned off the engine. “He thought it would scare me being one of the ‘Hollywood’ guys,” Kaufman told me in a 2003 L.A. Times interview. “I just sort of looked at him and smiled, because I knew there was something blessed about this man. The funny thing about Yeager is that he would drive out to the sets, particularly in the high desert, and he would not go above the speed limit. He was the fastest man alive, but he wouldn’t go over 55 because he knew how dangerous it was on the highway”

September usually means the beginning of the traditional fall TV season. As such, Hulu’s list of new releases for September 2021 contains some impressive TV swings.
For starters, all of ABC and Fox’s (both now united under the Disney banner alongside Hulu) fall season offerings will be made available to stream on Hulu the next day. More impressively, however, two FX on Hulu originals make their way to the streaming world this month.
The first is the long-awaited adaptation of the classic comic Y: The Last Man. The story of a virus that destroys every mammal with a Y-chromosome (save for one escape artist and his monkey) is set to premiere on September 13. Shortly after that, the B.J. Novak-produced anthology series The Premise arrives on September 16. Even those who are fatigued from timely anthology concepts will want to check this one out.

Paramount Network’s Ink Master and Oliver Peck have parted ways, just days after old photos of the reality-tv judge wearing blackface resurfaced via TMZ.
“After filming 13 great seasons of Ink Master, the producers and I have decided it’s best to part ways,” Peck said in a statement obtained by TVLine. “The offensive photos of me which recently surfaced from many years ago can only be a distraction to the amazing show I have loved being a part of and its many talented artists.

She’s not a Housewife, but Brielle Biermann certainly knows how to stir the Bravo pot.
As Real Housewives of Atlanta fans are well aware, a bitter feud recently erupted between Kim Zolciak-Biermann, 39, and NeNe Leakes, 49, after Zolciak-Biermann’s daughter Brielle alleged she found cockroaches in Leakes’ home. The incident will play out in detail this season, but in the meantime, Brielle, 20, is adding fuel to the fire by shading not just Leakes, but also her fellow Housewives Kenya Moore, 46, and Cynthia Bailey, 50. More than two months after a series of scandals rocked Texas-based theater chain Alamo Drafthouse and its annual film festival Fantastic Fest, the Austin festival has unveiled a brand-new board of directors led by some of the event’s most well-known female personalties and long-time employees. The new board will be led by Kristen Bell as chair, further cementing her place as an essential part of both the Alamo Drafthouse and Fantastic Fest, as she has been involved with both entities since the early-aughts and has held multiple leadership roles over those many years.
Bell will be joined on the board by actor and film buff Elijah Wood, film writer and programmer Kier-la Janisse, film curator and producer Peter Kuplowsky, and producer Suki-Rose Simakis.

So far, Comcast investors aren’t worried about losing the host of NBC’s long-running “Today” morning show. Shares of NBC parent company Comcast jumped 4 percent on Wednesday morning to nearly $38 a share in the hours after NBC announced it had fired “Today” show host Matt Lauer for “”inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.” NBC — which falls under the Comcast banner — has routinely won the coveted ages 25-54 demographic for its morning shows. The 59-year-old Lauer had been with the “Today” show for 23 years, and co-hosted alongside Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and weatherman Al Roker. Also Read: Trump Under Fire for.

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you haven’t watched Wednesday’s episode of Chicago P.D.
One of Chicago P.D.’s own is headed down a dangerous path.
On Wednesday’s episode, titled “Care Under Fire,” Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) goes undercover to stop an ex-military kidnapping crew from killing an innocent child, which dredges up demons from his past. Leaning on his past Ranger experience, Halstead persuades Voight (Jason Beghe) to let him take lead on the mission. Things go terribly awry when the man Halstead befriends, a fellow ex-Ranger, is shot dead and he lies to his sister, Camila (guest star Anabelle Acosta) -- with whom he becomes romantically entangled -- about his involvement.

In these seemingly endless months of waiting for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, fans have been clutching at every hint they can find about what we can expect from the much anticipated sequel. Thankfully, the steady deluge of merchandise for the movie has provided many clues, be it from action figures, Lego boxsets or even coloring books. The latest such release might be the most useful yet, though, as it looks like it contains a point-by-point breakdown of the film’s plot.
As first shared by GeekyTyrant, Topps Trading Cards have provided a list of the titles for their upcoming Last Jedi set. Judging by these descriptors, it seems that they’re in chronological order and run through the major moments of the movie from start to finish. They don’t reveal any massive details, but if you’re particularly spoiler-phobic, you might want to look away now.

This year, Fantastic Fest turned 13, a number that felt apt if you’ve been following the news. Most conversations started like this:
“How are you?”
“How are you?”
Exhale. Hug. Repeat.
Eventually, people got around to talking about the films. Even those were emotional.
Tortured Souls
In past years, bringing context into the Alamo Drafthouse theater meant deciding not to chomp chips and queso during a hushed thriller. This time, audiences welled up watching Carla Guigino confront a lifetime of abuse as the emotionally and physically handcuffed wife in Stephen King’s “Gerald’s Game,” a Lifetime movie-looking low budget adaptation whose blockbuster impact at the Fest might not translate to people at home when it premieres on Netflix. (Guigino, however, is terrific in a dual-of-sorts role as the manacled victim and her empowered subconscious.)

Alamo Drafthouse founder Tim League has issued a new apology, his latest statement after weeks of controversy involving the Austin-based theater chain. It’s the fourth public statement from League after the fallout of a string of revelations, including the re-hiring of former Birth.Movies.Death. editor-in-chief Devin Faraci by Drafthouse founder Tim League and new accusations directed at Fantastic Fest co-founder Harry Knowles.
In an email update sent to all Fantastic Fest badge holders (including both fans who purchased their entrance and members of the media and industry attending the annual festival) and viewable here, League writes: “I’ve been reflecting on twenty years of decisions as a business owner. In the early days, Karrie and I conferred on all tough decisions, and we always tried to do the right thing…Recent perspective has made it clear that we didn’t always do the right thing, despite what we thought were good intentions.

Last week, Austin’s annual Fantastic Fest bowed under a cloud that stemmed from the secret re-hiring of former Birth.Movies.Death. editor-in-chief Devin Faraci by Drafthouse founder Tim League and the continuing fallout of accusations directed at co-founder Harry Knowles. As the beloved genre festival kicks into its second half, it continues to draw attention for programming choices that reportedly left audience members on edge.
Over the weekend, Fanstastic Fest attendee Kim Sherman took to Instagram to share her experience with a Saturday afternoon showing of Ruben Östlund’s Palme d’or winner “The Square,” an event capped by a post-screening stunt that didn’t strike Sherman and other audience members as a wise choice.
Sherman wrote that, after the film concluded, “They asked us to remain seated after the film while they brought a ‘special guest’ into the room. Then they brought out an actor from the film...

Editor’s note: The above photograph of Jasmine Baker has been used with her full knowledge, cooperation, and consent.
An Austin-area woman said Ain’t It Cool News founder Harry Knowles sexually assaulted her at an Alamo Drafthouse event — but the reason she’s speaking out now is she believes change is coming.
“Harry Knowles groped me, opportunistically, on more than one occasion,” said Jasmine Baker. “I cannot just stay silent. I am not interested in remaining silent.”
In 1999-2000, Baker was familiar with Knowles and his website, as they often attended the same Drafthouse events. Baker was at a Drafthouse event when Knowles rubbed up against her buttocks and legs in a way that made her feel uncomfortable. While she was initially willing to consider it an accident, on a later occasion he rubbed up against her again; she confronted him about his behavior, and made it clear that...

When Fantastic Fest kicks off today in Austin, it will open without at least one long-time supporter: the influential fan site Ain’t It Cool News has been dropped as a sponsor, and founder Harry Knowles will not be attending the festival. The move is the latest development in the still-unfurling Alamo Drafthouse controversy surrounding the re-hiring of former Birth.Movies.Death editor-in-chief Devin Faraci after he was accused of sexual assault last year.
Knowles confirmed the decision in a phone call with IndieWire today, adding that it seemed like the right thing to do, adding that Fantastic Fest co-founder Tim League would be sitting out the festival as well.
“I’m minding the store this time,” he said, noting that the site would have writers covering the festival. “I’ll be able to get stories up on time — silver linings, you know?”

Alamo Drafthouse founder Tim League posted an apology on his Facebook page Friday evening, his latest statement after days of controversy swirling around the Austin-based theater chain. The response stemmed from a firestorm of anger following the revelation that League had secretly employed Devin Faraci for several months this year. Faraci was fired as editor of Alamo’s Birth.Movies.Death site last October after accusations of sexual assault, but was employed again as recently as February.

Many movies are screening at Fantastic Fest later this month, but “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” is no longer one of them. Variety reports that Fox Searchlight has decided to pull Martin McDonagh’s new film from the Austin-based fest in light of the controversy that erupted around its parent company, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, earlier this week.

Thanks to a new set of trading cards from Topps we now know specific bullet points from the plotline of the highly anticipated next chapter of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Even though there really aren't any major revelations, they might contain mild spoilers...
Topps has debuted the titles of a batch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi trading cards that will be available soon.
Like their prior sets, like the one for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, these seem to in chronological order and seem to lay out a rough timeline of the Last Jedi's plot. The titles do give us a pretty good idea of how the general story will unfold.
If you don't mind knowing a little more about the movie, check out the card titles below along with a new image of Rey wielding Luke's Lightsaber that you can see above.

Force Friday II is here, ladies and gentlemen, and it brings with it a slew of Star Wars goodies from all of your favorite toy manufacturers – namely Hasbro, Lego, and Disney.
It’s a global merchandise event that’s set to continue through until Monday, September 4th, and while The Last Jedi writer-director Rian Johnson has allayed fears that this massive launch would wind up spoiling the events of the December sequel, a new Topps Card listing does point to a brief plot outline.
First spotted by the eagle eyes of Star Wars News Net (via Screen Rant), these Base Cards supposedly herald the “Journey to The Last Jedi,” and though there’s a very good chance that each title is a vague, throwaway title and/or catchphrase to push sales, Swnn’s report does suggest that there are minor plot points to be found.
Take “Rey’s Solitude” and “Heroes United” as examples.
