The hitmakers, made up of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, even shared a photo with the stunned crowd on Twitter.
“Crashed this prom just now,” they captioned the snap. “It was across the street from our arena show, so why not.”

Fox’s new made-for-tv musical remake of the cult favorite The Rocky Horror Picture Show aired last night and brought us on a second trip to the madcap castle of Dr. Frank N. Furter. The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do The Time Warp Again tries to recapture the wacky magic of the original source material but doesn’t quite succeed. Despite some good moments, this reboot only makes you want to watch the 1975 film again.
When people say “There are some movies that shouldn’t be remade”, they could be talking about The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). Based on the popular play, the bizarre cult favorite written by Richard O'Brien and Jim Sharman was a unique piece of cinematic satire that mixed 1970s sensibilities with edgy humor and nostalgia for old sci-fi and horror films. It was a ‘moment-in-time’ creation that hit all the right notes for...

Hollywood is filled with movies honoring working people and labor unions. I like labor unions but not everyone does – and well, labor unions (or union leaders) haven’t always been perfect. On Labor Day, we ran a pro-labor list but to reflect that other viewpoint, this edition of Throwback Thursday focuses on a Labor Behaving Badly list – films about bad or crooked union bosses, strikes gone wrong, workers behaving badly, and even a few anti-union films.
On The Waterfront (1954)
This excellent drama from director Elia Kazan is the gold standard of this kind of film, with a corrupt union boss (Lee J. Cobb) who have become a virtual dictator, treating the union like his own little army to do his bidding. One man, Terry Malone (Marlon Brando), stands up to him and breaks the power of the boss. Bad behavior indeed, and one heck of a good movie.
Last Exit to Brooklyn (1989)

Before Scream turned the genre world on its head, there was another ’90s teen-centric horror movie revitalizing youth-oriented cinema. Featuring a cast of rising stars, killer effects, and a now iconic soundtrack, Andrew Fleming’s The Craft thoughtfully explored issues like high school politics, female empowerment, suicide, and the dangers of witchcraft when left in less-experienced hands.
More importantly, The Craft spoke out on the behalf of a generation of teenagers struggling to find their identity, and it continues to have an impact on new audiences. Over the years, the film has attracted a huge cult following and maintained its popularity amongst genre fans.
It may seem surprising that the decision to move forward on making The Craft wasn’t an easy sell for writer/director Fleming (Bad Dreams, Dick). “When we began prepping The Craft, the teen movie was dead,” explained Fleming. “Studios were under the impression that teens...

High schools have seen their share of monsters in the movies, be they werewolves (Teen Wolf, I Was a Teenage Werewolf, Ginger Snaps), vampires (Twilight, My Best Friend is a Vampire), aliens (The Faculty), or just your average, garden-shear variety slasher (Prom Night, Scream, etc.). You might think that the 1987 horror film Zombie High attempts to bring the undead to the high school hallway. You would be wrong. For proof, check out Scream Factory’s new Blu-ray of Zombie High, which isn’t really a zombie movie and is barely even a horror film.

It was the casting game that everyone was talking about, and Sam Claflin was the victor. During a break from a busy shooting schedule in Hawaii, the 26-year-old British actor dished about landing the highly coveted role of Finnick Odair, his intense four months of training in Atlanta (hello, six-pack!), working with Jennifer Lawrence, and his "bromance" with Josh Hutcherson. Read on for the exclusive first interview with the "Catching Fire" star.
Teen Vogue: Aloha, Sam! Congratulations on scoring the role of Finnick Odair. How did this all go down?
Sam Claflin: Yeah, so they decided to go with me as opposed to any of the other young, hot, good-looking actors out there. [Laughs] I auditioned like everyone else. I didn't know what it was for before I went in, and I hadn't read the books. Looking at the page with a character named Finnick, I was like,...

Put this squarely in the "maybe" column, but Rival Schools creator and director of Capcom vs. Snk 2 director Hideaki Itsuno says he has plans which could potentially see both classic 2D fighters come to current gen consoles. In an interview with Anime News Network, Itsuno said of a possible digital release of Rival High Schools:
I happen to have certain plans to do things like that. I don't know if it'll come to fruition, but it's on my agenda for sure.
The story was more or less the same when it came to a downloadable release of Capcom vs. Snk 2, with Itsuno saying he had plans on that front as well.
With the recent wave of digital offerings for beloved (Darkstalkers Resurrection) or even obscure (Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver.) fighting games, it wouldn't be a stretch to see Capcom vs. Snk 2 make its way onto Xbla and Psn (and the Wii U,...

With many of the classics like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter finding second lives on the current generation of consoles and ongoing series that never really went away (but had rocky start on the PS3 and/or 360) like Tekken and Dead or Ailve, plus a new crop of contenders like Skullgirls and Persona 4 Arena mixing it up in the 2D space, we're living in something like a new golden age of fighting games.
And then, you hear that Microsoft has renewed the trademark for Killer Instinct and you start to wonder about some other great, maybe even forgotten fighters that would be worth revisiting on modern consoles.
After the jump, we'll run through some older fighting game series that should come back. And on @MTVMultiplayer, why don't you tell us what other fighting games should get a second life in the current gen?
