Bill Bennett made some good films in the 1990s, but his 80s efforts were a bit clumsy. Some of the characters are interesting, but the plot and the romances are not entirely convincing.
Richard Moir is always easy to watch, Jennifer Cluff (Bennett's wife) is attractive as Harry, and Tina Bursill and Helen Mutkins are both good as Al's co-workers. Fraser Island also looks great.
But it is a light romance that is not entirely successful.
