Tero Hari Nam, Hari Nam, mein julaha!

The first thing that needs to be cleared about this film is its being, sort of a 'commissioned' film by interest group/s. This is not the first time that Shyam Benegal has directed such work. People who have watched his movies, know very well that his many films fall under this category and it's a well known fact that as far as Benegal is concerned, this hasn't affected his work negatively, at all. The film is well-written, well-acted and a well-directed movie. Apart from Om and Shabana, I would say that this is a very good film of Anu Kapoor, who, in my view, is one of the most underrated actors of India. I should also not forget rest of the actors/actresses who have really worked well. Last but not the least is the musical score and specially the songs of Kabir in this film. They're going to haunt the viewer, for sure. In fact, using the songs of a North Indian mystic/saint Kabir (a weaver by profession, himself), to tell the human interest story of South Indian weaver/s is a master stroke of the master director, Shyam Benegal.

This movie shows the struggle of Weaver's to make a living despite of doing marvellous work they get only peanuts. And all the money goes to the middle mans. Shyam benegal is a master of such movies and have done proper research on this section of society and that is visible clearly in this movie. All the actors have done proper justice to their roles. Bataa off to Mr. Om puri n shabana azmi for marvellous acting

Very sus movie

The guy in the movie was quite sus. He crawled through the vents on multiple occasions, Sabotaged vital parts of the spaceship, and even killed a few of his fellow crewmates! I'm glad the crew voted him out in the end, thanks to the engineer's quick thinking and the scientist's intel. One of the crewmates was seemingly saved by some paranormal force too. Or maybe that's just me. Overall very sus movie. 10/10.
