When you start with the two buddies, one of whom is the jerk who always gets into trouble and drags his more sensible pal into the mess, you know you've see it all before. These guys set themselves up to lose in scene after scene right up until the very end. The police are unbelievably lame. Even the bad guys didn't make much sense. Aside from the really gaping holes and lack of cohesion and a sorry role for Dean Stockwell, this was barely watchable, not because of the women who didn't bring anything to this film, but for the horses and some Canadian scenery. Overall, very amateurishly presented. If it ever shows up on TCM or someplace like that, okay, but save your money.
