  Scuttle : It's hard to say.

  [Place's his ear to Eric's foot]

  [the approaching Grimsby and Max's barking send a startled Ariel back into the ocean]

  Prince Eric : A girl rescued me. She... She was singing. She had the most beaufiful voice.

  Grimsby : Eric, I think you've swallowed a bit too much seawater. Off we go. Come along, Max.

  Sebastian : [after watching the unfolding events]  We just gonna forget this whole thing ever happened. The sea king will never know. You won't tell him.

  Sebastian : I won't tell him. I will stay in one piece.

  [Ariel has possitioned herself on top of a rock watching Eric longingly]

• Scuttle : It's a dinglehopper. Humans use these little babies to straighten their hair out. See? Just a little twirl here and a yank there and violee... Ya got an aesthetically-pleasing configuration of hair that humans go nuts over.

• Scuttle : [examines a pipe]  This I haven't in years. This is wonderful! A banded, bulbous snarfblatt.

  Ariel , Flounder : Oh.

• Scuttle : [breathlessly]  Ariel, I was flying... Of course, I was flying. And... I saw the... The watch... The witch was watching the mirror, and she was singin' with a stolen set of pipes. Do you hear what I'm tellin' you?

  [picks up Sebastian and slams him down on every word] 

  Scuttle : The prince is marrying the sea witch in disguise!

• Ariel : I've never seen a human this close before. He's very handsome, isn't he?

  [Scuttle looks at Max and scratches his neck] 

  Scuttle : I don't know. He looks kind of hairy and slobbery to me.

  Ariel : Not that one. The one playing the snarfblatt.

• Sebastian : Are you sure about this?

  Scuttle : Have I ever been wrong? I mean, when it's important?

• Scuttle : [Looking throught the wrong end of a telescope, shouting as if Ariel was far away]  Whoa! Mermaid off the port bow! Ariel, how you doin', kid?

  [Ariel pulls down the telescope] 

  Scuttle : Whoa, what a swim.

• Scuttle : [Flying blissfully close to the wedding barge, as he hums the Wedding March] 

  Vanessa : [singing in Ariel's Voice, to the tune of "Poor Unfortunate Souls"]  What a lovely little bride I'll make/ My dear I'll look divine.

  Vanessa : [Chuckles, then continues Singing]  Things are working out according/ To my ultimate design

  Scuttle : [Watching the entire scene gulps] 

  Vanessa : [singing]  Soon I'll have that little mermaid/ And the ocean will be mine

  Vanessa : [laughing into the mirror, whose reflection reveals she is indeed Ursula] 

  Scuttle : [Gasps]  The Sea Witch! Oh no. She's gonna. I gotta.

  [In his haste flys into the window by mistake] 

  Scuttle : Ariel!

• Ursula : [Scuttle hums the wedding march and hears Vanessa singing]  What a lovely little bride I'll make / My dear, I'll look divine / Things are working out According to my ultimate design

  [throws pin at angel vanity] 

  Ursula : Soon I'll have that little mermaid / And the ocean will be mine

  [looks into mirror and sees Ursula's reflection] 

  Scuttle : [sees whats going on in the ship]  The Sea Witch! Oh. no! She's gonna... I gotta..

  [crashes into ship with a loud ding] 

  Scuttle : Ariel!

• Scuttle : Now, Ariel, I'm telling ya. If you wanna be a human, the first thing ya gotta do is dress like one. Now, let me see.

• Scuttle : Now, the snarfblatt dates back to prehistorical times when humans would sit around and stare at each other all day.

  [long pause] 

  Scuttle : Got very boring. So, they invented this snarfblatt to make fine music. Allow me.

  [Attempts to blow the pipe and seaweed crops out of it] 

  Ariel : [realizing]  Music!

  Scuttle : It's stuck!

  [coughs and gags] 

  Ariel : The concert! Oh my gosh! My father's gonna kill me!

  Flounder : [gasps]  The concert was today?

• Scuttle : Well, look at what the catfish dragged in.

  [laughs] 

  Scuttle : Look at ya. Look at ya. There's something different. Don't tell me. I got it. It's your hairdo, right? You've been usin' the dinglehopper, right?

  [Ariel shakes her head] 

  Scuttle : No? No, huh? Well, let me see. New seashells? No new seashells. I gotta admit I can't put my foot on it right now. But if I just stand here long enough...

  Sebastian : She's got legs, you idiot! She traded her voice to the sea witch and got legs. Geez, man!

  Scuttle : I knew that.

  Flounder : Ariel's been turned into a human. She's gotta make the prince fall in love with her, and he's gotta kiss her.

  Sebastian : And she's only got three days!

• Scuttle : [Ariel spies on Eric and his shipmates]  Hey there, sweetie! Quite a show, eh?

  Ariel : [as she tries to shoo him away]  Scuttle, be quiet. They'll hear you.

  Scuttle : I got ya. I got ya. We're being intrepidacious. We're out to discover!

• Scuttle : Maybe you could make a little planter out of it or something.

  Ariel : I'm sorry! I gotta go! Thank you, Scuttle!

  Scuttle : Any time, sweetie! Any time.

• Scuttle : Human stuff, huh? Hey, let me see.

  Scuttle : Look at this. Wow. This is special. This is very, very unusual.

• Scuttle : [whistles]  Ya look great, kid. Ya look sensational.

• Flounder : [watching Ariel and Eric spend time together]  Move over. Move your big feathers. I can't see a thing.

  Scuttle : Nothing is happening. Only one day left, and that boy ain't puckered up once.

• Scuttle : Okay. All right, this calls for a little vocal romantic stimulation. Stand back!
