Talkative animation -- sometimes funny, sometimes not
hahnerpeter23 August 2006
Queen Guinevra orders a love potion from Merlin for his husband, King Arthur. Unfortunately the young Lancelot eats the pie with the potion, he fells in love, and make the life of the queen miserably, so they sent him to fight with an old, innocent dragon. The heroes of this movie talk to much and most of them are pretty passive. Attila Dargay and József Nepp are much better when they make short animation movies -- their longer ones are sometimes boring. The best parts are the short, little scenes: King Arthur's stupid story about his heroic deeds in the past with the comments of the jester, and the special version of the fairy tale of Snow White, seen through the eyes of the witch. These small parts are extremely funny -- the more important parts of the story are not. But this animation is absolutely devoid of violence, so those parents will like it who would like to show something nice and peaceful story for their children.

A tale of ancient heroes.
nb00006 October 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Queen Guinevra complains sadly to her beloved handmaid Peggy that his husband King Arrthur is neglects her. The king is namely spending all his time by knightly jousts or beside the famous 'round table'. The two women figure out that the only solution for their problem is the good old sorcerer Merlin. Merlin sends a very strong elixir to Guinevra, to help gain back the love of Arthur. The elixir is mixed into some pudding, but unfortunately this is eaten by Arthur's favorite knight Lancelot. Geggy is in love with Lancelot, so the situation is getting even more complex when Lancelott falls in eternal love with the queen trough the elixir. This comment is the translation of Steve Varadi's hungarian comment.
