Sex & Nudity

  • A man gets out of bed in a rush naked. His butt is shown and it is obvious he was having sex.
  • In a montage at the end of the film, the scene where the woman walked out into the street naked is replayed.
  • Several scenes involve prostitutes and subsequently there is crude sexual dialogue.
  • A woman undresses and walks out into a street naked. The camera lingers on her bare rear and catches a brief glimpse of her breasts which are cloaked slightly by her long hair, but her nipples are still visible.
  • Several scenes involving implied sex. Women are shown in cleavage revealing clothing.

Violence & Gore

  • A man has a large knife thrust through his forearm and it gets stuck there. Many men shown lined up in coffins and on the street after being killed. Many cold blood killings. It is implied that a man will be killed by knife. Later we learn he was beheaded.
  • A young boy gets his hand tred on a man.
  • A man is killed by a group of boys in front of an old man.
  • Chavez and Arkansas fight with blades. Arkansas throws sand at Chavez as he hits him with a bone and falls over. He is almost about to shoot him until the entire group pull their guns on him.
  • A gang leader tricks a man into war by pushing him out of the house which makes the lynch mob shoot him instead.
  • A man throws a drink at a wall and sets it on fire which causes the whole bar to burn down.
  • The last 30 minutes is gun battle.
  • Not as graphic as the first film.
  • A message is written in blood on a wall that says "Garret's Place".
  • Shootings with some blood. No graphic gore.

Profanity

  • Two uses of "whore. The second use was "whorehouse".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Drinking occurs throughout the movie by various characters, typically in bars but also a brothel that is visited, the governor's house, and Chism's ranch house.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The film has some intense gun fights, but not as intense as the first film.

  • Pat threatens to kill William. Tension is built throughout the scene. He shoots him offscreen as it cuts to the pinyata smashes at a party.
  • It is revealed that Arkansas Dave Rudabaugh was beheaded.
  • In the epilogue text, Pat Garret was shot dead.
