Drew Savich Levin, an Emmy and Cable Ace award winner and Hollywood founder/CEO of prolific TV production and distribution company Team Communications, had the other shoe drop today after he was indicted in March 2008 and pled guilty in Seotember 2011 on charges he orchestrated a multimillion-dollar scam to inflate his Nasdaq-traded company’s revenue and stock price. Today’s U.S. District Court sentence was 66 months in federal prison and $2.2 million restitution. It includes a second case of bilking a French investor into a separate Levin-owned company. Levin’s bio boasts of more than 25 years of international production, distribution, sales, financial and management experience and producing/distributing all forms of media properties to more than 100 countries worldwide.
